Codex Classic

Codex Classic puts a full database of WoW Classic inside the game. Search anything by name, or browse when you don't know the name, and see it on your map.

SEARCH
- 24,442 items, 7,693 NPCs, 4,204 quests, 3,402 world objects and 1,242 recipes, by name or number.

BROWSE WITHOUT KNOWING A NAME
- Items by category: weapons by type, armor by material and slot, recipes by profession.
- NPCs by service: vendors by speciality, trainers, flight masters, innkeepers, rares, elites, bosses, world events.
- Quests by zone, dungeon, class and profession, with the whole quest chain.
- Zones: everything a zone holds, with its monster levels: vendors, trainers, quests, rares, herbs, veins, chests, fishing, dungeon entrances.
- Dungeons and raids: bosses in order, loot, monsters, quests and the entrance on the map.
- Professions: recipes from Apprentice to Artisan with reagents, skill levels and where to learn them. Herbs and veins with the skill they need.

MY QUESTS
- Your quest log and the quests you can pick up in your zone (your level, faction and class, not done yet).
- Quest objectives on the map, only when you click.

UPGRADES
- For each slot, the items you can use with a higher item level than what you wear, their stats and where to get them.
- Filters: level, stat, source (no dungeon or raid, quests, vendors, crafting) and quality. Hover to compare with your item.

DISCREET
- Nothing appears on your screen or map by itself. Made to sit next to your quest and leveling addons.
- A few optional lines in item tooltips: dropped by, sold by, needed for a quest, reagent. Always, only with Shift / Alt / Ctrl, or never.
- Settings window: tooltips, quests, window size, minimap button.

WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM
Nothing is typed by hand. Item names, stats, recipes, bosses and zones come from the game client 1.15 itself and its terrain. NPCs, loot, vendors and quests come from the VMaNGOS database (patch 1.12), checked against the CMaNGOS database: what the second database does not confirm is marked with "?". Every record has a Wowhead link so you can check it.
