Stat Weights & Custom Profiles Different specs need different stats. CharacterGearOptimizer comes with pre-built stat priorities for every class and specialization in The Burning Crusade. Want to fine-tune the weights yourself? Use the built-in editor to create and save custom profiles that match your exact playstyle.

Cap-Aware Optimization The addon understands stat caps and breakpoints—things like Defense Cap, Hit Cap, and Haste Cap. It prioritizes reaching these caps efficiently, then maximizes your remaining stats. This means you're never wasting points on stats you don't need.

Save & Swap Gear Sets Instantly Save named gear sets for different content types (raids, dungeons, PvP, farming, etc.) with custom icons. Switch between them with one click. Your saved sets stick around across play sessions.

Gear Picker with Alternatives Hover over any gear slot to see all your available alternatives ranked by how good they are for your current build. The picker opens to the side so it never blocks important tooltips.

Smart Tooltips When you hover over any item in the game, the addon shows you how it compares to what you're currently wearing—including how much it contributes to each important stat cap.

Complete Stats Overview A dedicated stats panel breaks down all your combat stats in easy-to-read categories: melee damage, ranged damage, spell power, defense, avoidance, and more.

Spec Quick-Reference HUD A toggle-able minimap display shows you your current spec and key stat breakpoints at a glance, with green and red indicators so you know at a glance whether you're hitting your targets.

Drag & Drop Gear Management Just like the default character sheet, you can drag gear out of slots or drop items directly onto slots to equip them.

How It Works

1. Open your character panel (press C)

6. Swap between saved sets anytime with one click

Your choices are saved automatically when you log off, so your optimized gear and saved sets are ready when you return.
