Description
BV Addon Suite - Routing
Ways you can really walk instead of a straight line. BV Addon Suite - Gather plans its routes with it, and /bv route leads you to any place: on foot, by flight, ship, zeppelin or the Deeprun Tram.
Requires: BV Addon Suite - Core and BV Addon Suite - Map Data (the places: "my trainer", an innkeeper, a dungeon entrance).
What it does
- Finds a walkable way round steep slopes, cliffs you cannot climb, deep water and magma (terrain data from the game's own map files, included)
- Drops down short ledges, never up them; with Slow Fall any height, if you allow it
- Keeps out of enemy towns and of the no-go and high-risk areas you paint in Gather's editor; follows roads, walked ways and the transitions you set there (bridges, tunnels, cave entrances)
- The six capitals with their levels: Stormwind (with the Slaughtered Lamb's cellar), Ironforge, Darnassus (with the portals to Rut'theran Village), Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff and Undercity; streets, stairs, lifts and gates
- Picks walking, your known flight masters, ships, zeppelins and the Deeprun Tram by the time they take, and shows the way on the map and the minimap
- A guide leads you: an arrow to the next point, what to do now and the time left; while you fly or ride, its symbol instead of the arrow
- Flight points per continent: where you have not opened a flight map yet, you are asked once whether to go on without flights there
- Calculates in small slices, so the game keeps its frame rate
Commands
/bv route <place>: the way to a place by name (with Map Data)/bv route way: the way to your map pin;/bv route 45 62: to a point of the map you are on/bv route stop,/bv route status,/bv route level
Notes
- Your painted areas and transitions are shared by every package that finds ways.
