BV Addon Suite - Codex

Find anything, go everywhere: a search field like Spotlight for the places of Azeroth, and tours that BV Addon Suite - Routing leads you through, the shortest way.

Press Ctrl + Space - and type where you want to go

Ctrl + Space opens the search from anywhere in the game. Type a few letters, press Shift + Enter, and Routing leads you there.

Requires: BV Addon Suite - Core, BV Addon Suite - Map Data (the places) and BV Addon Suite - Routing (the way).

What it does

• Search as you type: an NPC by name, a title ("Warlock Trainer", "Banker", "Auctioneer"), a flight master, a zeppelin or ship, an instance entrance, a mailbox, anvil or forge, a zone or city; nearest first
• By where it is: every place shows its zone or city ("Demisette Cloyce (Stormwind City)"), and you can search with it: "warlock orgrimmar" finds the trainer there
• What vendors sell and who gives a quest: an item leads to its vendors, a quest to whoever gives it or takes it back
• Enemy places marked: places in the other side's capitals and bases are shown in orange with a warning; leading you there turns avoiding enemy bases off for that way
• Navigate now: one click leads you to the best of all places of a title, the time to each found in one plan
• Opens things too: the suite's windows and settings pages by name
• Tours: add places one after another - a trainer, then the zeppelin, then the auction house - and see the time for the whole way
• The right one of many: where a place exists several times (every warlock trainer), the tour picks the one that makes the whole way shortest, not the nearest
• Best order if you like: every order of your stops is tried too
• Navigate: Routing leads you to each stop in turn; arriving at one starts the next
• Only places of your faction: friendly NPCs, your flight masters and transports

Commands

• /bv codex [text] - the search
• /bv tour, /bv tour go, /bv tour stop, /bv tour clear
• Ctrl + Space opens the search (set on first start when the key is free; change it under Key Bindings, BV Addon Suite)
