Description
Buffsmith
Buffs and consumables, without the scavenger hunt.
Buffsmith shows the self-buffs, party buffs and consumables you’re missing as a small clickable bar.
If something needs attention, it appears. Once it’s sorted, it gets out of the way.
What it does
- Shows missing self-buffs
- Tracks useful consumables in your bags
- Reminds you when party buffs are missing
- Lets you use buffs and consumables directly from the bar
- Hides automatically in combat
- Supports a keybind for working through missing buffs one at a time
Consumables are discovered from your bags, including things like food, flasks, scrolls and weapon enhancements.
Hover over a consumable category to see other available choices. Use a different one and Buffsmith remembers it as the new default.
Party buffs
Buffsmith can also spot when someone in your party is missing a buff that another class could provide, because sometimes the real raid mechanic is getting the Mage to press Arcane Intellect.
Clicking things
Left-click an icon to cast the buff or use the item.
Right-click an icon to dismiss it until you change zones.
You can also keybind the Buffsmith trigger to work through whatever is currently missing.
Combat
Combat starts, Buffsmith clocks off.
The bar disappears and its actions are unavailable until combat ends.
This is intentional. Buffsmith deals with protected buttons, and World of Warcraft gets rather particular about addons rearranging those during combat.
Settings
Type:
/buffsmith
to open the settings window.
There’s also a preview mode so you can position and size the bar without having to deliberately remove half your buffs first.
