BootyBayBroker

The in-game half of bootybaybroker.com, an Auction House companion for World of Warcraft.

What it does

• Prices on your tooltips. Item tooltips and a bag-total line show the cheapest buyout for the item, each figure naming its source and how old it is.
• Your own scans. Scan the Auction House on Classic Era, TBC Classic, MoP Classic and WoW Forever; your sweep prices your tooltips and menus at once. Retail prices arrive only through the desktop app.
• A ledger of your trading. Every purchase, sale, posting and cancel is recorded in game, with a dashboard of your gold across characters and your daily net.
• Shopping lists, a crafting queue, a warehouse and vendor history, all kept in game.
• Guided auctioning and buying. Post, undercut, cancel and buy from your own lists. Every purchase, post, cancel and craft is confirmed by you after a final live check; nothing runs on a timer.
• Type /bbb to open the window, /bbb help for every command and /bbb website for the site's address.

Game versions

One file per game version on this page: Retail, Classic Era (also Hardcore and Season of Discovery), TBC Classic and MoP Classic. The Retail file also loads on WoW Forever.

The desktop app

bootybaybroker.com also offers a Windows desktop app that keeps this addon up to date, delivers the website's prices into your tooltips, syncs your lists and plans from the site, and uploads only the data you choose to share.

If you use the desktop app, let it manage this addon. In the CurseForge app, set BootyBayBroker to ignore updates: an update installed by CurseForge replaces the file the desktop app writes, which switches the app's features off in game until the app's next sync and a /reload.

Without the desktop app the addon works fully on its own: your scans, your ledger and your lists stay on your computer, and nothing is uploaded.
