Blood Shield Meter
See exactly how big your Blood Shield is.
Blood Shield Meter adds a clean bar for Blood Death Knights that shows how big your Blood Shield is compared to your maximum health. One look tells you whether you are safe or need another Death Strike.
Features
- Size at a glance: the bar fills against your maximum health, with tick marks every 25% and their values below it.
- The numbers that matter: shield amount on the left, a big percentage of your maximum health in the center, remaining time on the right.
- Timer bar: a thin gold bar under the shield shows how long it lasts.
- Works in combat: in Midnight the game hides exact values from addons during combat. Blood Shield Meter passes them straight to the bar and texts, which the game draws itself. The timer restarts with every Death Strike.
- Extra details when values are readable: the bar color grows with the shield, a green "+X" shows what each Death Strike added, and the tooltip shows the biggest shield of the fight.
- Your scale: choose whether a full bar is 50%, 75%, 100%, 150% or 200% of your maximum health.
- Stays out of the way: hides out of combat when the shield is empty (optional), and only appears for Blood Death Knights.
- Customizable: lock position, six sizes, hide/show.
Usage
- Drag: move the bar
- Right-click: options
Commands
/bsm test: show a fake shield for 12 seconds to place the bar/bsm options: open the options menu/bsm lock//bsm unlock: lock or unlock the bar/bsm show//bsm hide: show or hide the bar/bsm reset: reset position and size
/bloodshield works as well as /bsm.
Languages
English and Italian (it follows your game client language).
Notes
- During combat the game hides the Blood Shield aura from addons. The bar then shows your total absorbs, which for a Blood Death Knight are almost entirely Blood Shield.
- In combat the timer is based on your Death Strikes: if the shield is used up before it expires, the timer keeps running while the amount drops to 0.
- The bar color, the "+X" and the biggest-shield record only work when the game lets addons read the values.
