Better Friendlist combines a redesigned friends list with a dedicated messenger, guild tools, raid management and personal notes.

Friends & Battle.net

• Browse WoW and Battle.net contacts with clear online, away and in-game status.
• See game icons and activity details at a glance.
• Search contacts and filter by All, Online, Favorites, Guild or Ignore.
• Set custom display names, add contact notes and choose an addon avatar.
• Hide your own BattleTag with a quick privacy toggle.

Your own messenger

• Manage multiple conversations in one window with a compact contact sidebar.
• Keep saved conversation history until you delete it.
• Reply directly beneath messages and edit your own messages for up to five minutes.
• Share custom WoW-themed emojis with other addon users.
• Use clickable item links, copy and paste, and conversation search.
• Receive unread counts and customizable notification sounds without incoming messages automatically opening the window.
• Automatically tuck the messenger away during combat.

Guild & raid tools

• Browse guild members, ranks, notes and online status.
• Access guild information, the message of the day and permitted officer notes.
• Edit supported guild information according to your guild permissions.
• Optionally share your location with participating guild members.
• Find members on the world map using class-colored markers, with names and levels shown on hover.
• Organize raid groups, view player roles and role totals, and start role checks where supported.

Integrated voice calls

Call contacts using Blizzard’s built-in group voice system, with incoming-call controls and call-status notifications.

Voice calls require an actual WoW group. Other group members may join the same voice channel.

My Notes

Create, search and edit personal notes directly inside the addon. Notes save automatically and remain available after restarting the game.

Important information

Custom emojis, synchronized message edits and replies, and shared guild locations require compatible addon versions on both sides. Location sharing is opt-in.

Your selected addon avatar does not change your Battle.net profile. Guild permissions and WoW client restrictions remain in effect, and feature availability varies between client versions.
