Cash Cow is a Retail / Midnight / Classic / BC / Mop Auction House helper. It scans its own AH prices, shows the highest-value sellable stock in your bank and Warband, lets you pick how much to sell, stages that pile into one sell bag, then gives you a Posting Desk so you can list everything with a real click each time.

Checked AH lows — dump listings don’t set your price. A rogue 5g post will not make a 5000g item look worthless.

Vendor overpay warning — don’t buy shop items off the AH for crazy gold. When Cash Cow knows an NPC vendor sells an item, it shows the vendor price on the tooltip, marks the list icon with a red outline, and puts a red strobing edge on the tip so you notice before you overpay. Example: Arclight Spanner is about ~10g from engineering vendors — people still list it for hundreds of gold on the AH.

Easter egg — Cash Cow hides a little surprise. When you find it, it’ll make you happy. No spoilers.

Prices come from Cash Cow only. It does not read Auctionator, TSM, RECrystallize, or any other addon.

What you get

How vendor prices work: Blizzard does not give addons a simple “is this sold by a vendor?” flag on every item. Cash Cow ships a seed of common shop tools (Spanner, hammers, picks, …) and learns more whenever you open an NPC merchant — gold ask and merchant name + zone (atlas of shops you visited).

Follow the parts in order the first time. After that, use the short everyday loop.

Part 0 — What you need

• World of Warcraft Retail (Midnight / current expansion)
• About 10 minutes the first time
• An Auction House and your bank
• One mostly-empty bag as the sell bag (slots 1–4, or backpack = 0)

You do not need Auctionator, TSM, or any other pricing addon.

Part 1 — Install

1. Download the Cash Cow zip from CurseForge.
2. Extract to: World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\CashCow\
3. Character select → AddOns → enable Cash Cow.
4. Log in → type /cc. The gold banner window should open.
5. Press the flashing Tutorial button (top-right) or /cc help for the spotlight walkthrough.

Part 2 — Open Cash Cow

Part 3 — Get prices (Scan)

1. Open the Auction House.
2. Auto when AH opens starts a scan by default.
3. Or click Scan AH (full) / Price my stuff (faster owned lookup).

Full scans are throttled by Blizzard (~15 minutes). Cash Cow uses checked lows — dump / typo listings are ignored so they don’t wreck your prices.

After a scan, hover items for Others ask, You’d ask (after Cheaper %), and You’d pocket (after AH cut %). Toggle with /cc tooltip.

Vendor overpay warning: when Cash Cow knows an item is NPC shop stock (seeded tools like Arclight Spanner, plus anything learned when you open merchants), the tooltip gets a red strobing edge, the list icon gets a red outline, and the tip shows Vendor asks plus Last shop: when Cash Cow has seen the merchant. Browse learned shops with /cc vendors.

Sell bag ready / refill: after Fill, if Earn is met (or the bag is full), the bag title becomes CashCow READY. After you claim mail, if Earn is still short, chat nudges you back to bank → Fill. Nothing auto-opens — you still Interact / click.

Part 4 — Teach it your bank

Open your bank once (and Warband if you use it).
Leave Bags too unchecked unless you also want bag items listed.
Default = bank + Warband only — put auction stock in the bank, then sell from there.

Part 5 — Read the list

/cc shows sellable items that already have a Cash Cow price ≥ Skip under.

Sort: Price (total gold) · Each · AH low · Rarity · Qty · A-Z

Check rows. Edit To sell amounts. Hover for bags / bank / Warband counts.

Short list is intentional. Unpriced hidden. Under Skip under hidden. Bags off by default. Soulbound never shown. This is “worth auctioning,” not “entire bank.”

Part 7 — Fill the sell bag

1. Open the bank.
2. Check what to sell.
3. Click Fill sell bag.
4. Stock moves into Sell bag # — that bag is the only auction pile.

Put back returns staged items to the bank.

Part 8 — Post auctions

Blizzard requires a real click per post.

1. Open the AH.
2. Click Post auctions (or /cc post).
3. On the Posting Desk: Sell / Hold / Swap per row.
4. Mash POST NEXT — one click lists the next item at your planned price.

Empty desk = empty sell bag → Fill first. Expired / unsold posts get tagged (“Didn’t sell”).

Part 9 — Everyday short loop

1. Open AH → auto-scan (or Scan / Price my stuff).
2. Open bank → /cc.
3. Sort Price, set Skip under, check rows.
4. Fill sell bag.
5. Post auctions → mash POST NEXT.
