About Atlas Legion
Atlas Legion is an optional map module for the World of Warcraft Atlas addon. It provides instance maps and accompanying map legends for Legion content.
Requires Atlas: This module does not run as a standalone addon. Install the Atlas core addon together with this module.
The module name describes its map content, not a specific WoW client. Choose releases compatible with the client you play.
What's Included
Browse the Legion instance maps included in the package, along with their map markers and legend entries.
Map coverage and available information may vary by release.
This module supplies map content for the Atlas browser; it does not provide a separate map interface. Loot and achievement functionality depends on the Atlas core, compatible integrations, and the APIs available in your WoW client.
Why a Separate Module?
Atlas distributes expansion-specific instance maps as separate modules so you can install only the map collections you need.
This also avoids downloading every map collection again when the Atlas core addon is updated.
Installation
- Install the Atlas core addon.
- Install Atlas Legion.
- Choose releases compatible with your WoW client.
- Enable both addons in the character selection screen's AddOns list.
- Open Atlas with
/atlasand select a Legion instance map.
For manual installation, extract the addon into the Interface/AddOns
directory of the WoW client you use. Preserve the addon folder structure
and avoid an extra wrapper folder.

- WoW client branch and version.
- Atlas version.
