Description
ABC WoW — Estate
How much gold would you have if you sold everything you could on the Auction House?
ABC WoW — Estate estimates your potential total wealth by combining the market value of your auctionable items with the gold your characters already own.
Instead of showing only the gold in your bags, Estate answers a more interesting question:
"What is my entire collection of tradable items worth right now?"
How It Works
Estate calculates your estimated wealth using three sources:
BagSync — Your Inventory
Collects saved inventory information across characters on the same realm (or connected realms) and faction, including:
- Items in character bags
- Items stored in banks
- Items waiting in mailboxes
- Saved character gold balances
Auctionator — Market Prices
Retrieves estimated Auction House prices from Auctionator's local pricing database.
Each eligible item's estimated market price is multiplied by the quantity owned.
World of Warcraft API — Live Character Data
Updates your current character's gold and inventory, scans bank contents when accessible, and checks item properties to help identify auctionable items.
Features
- Total Estate Value: Estimated value of auctionable items plus available gold
- Account-Wide Overview: Combines eligible characters on the same faction and connected realm group
- Detailed Breakdown: See items, owners, quantities, estimated unit prices and total values
- Storage Filters: Include or exclude bags, banks, mailboxes and crafting materials
- Gold Filter: Include or exclude existing cash from the calculation
- Vendor Item Filtering: Optionally ignore ordinary, unlimited-stock NPC goods
- Binding Checks: Exclude known soulbound, quest-bound and other non-auctionable items
- Price Freshness: See when Auctionator last performed a full auction scan
- Missing Price Detection: Identify items for which no market price is available
- Minimap Access: Open the movable Estate window from the minimap
How to Get an Accurate Estimate
- Install and configure Auctionator.
- Perform a full Auction House scan to refresh market prices.
- Use BagSync to collect inventory information from your characters.
- Visit your characters and open their banks to refresh stored information.
- Open Estate to review your estimated total wealth.
Estate can also use its own locally collected inventory data when compatible BagSync data is unavailable, but the account-wide overview will be limited.
Important Notes
Estate calculates potential market value, not guaranteed profit.
Actual selling proceeds may differ because of changing prices, unsold auctions, Auction House fees and deposits.
Items without known market prices are reported but do not contribute to the estimated item value.
Data from characters that have not been recently visited or scanned may be outdated. Estate distinguishes locally verified inventory from less certain saved inventory records where possible.
Estate does not automatically sell items or interact with the Auction House on your behalf.
ABC WoW — Estate: Know what you own. Know what it could be worth.
