This animation showcases a DIY at-home nail experience using MercuryFoam’s Self-Manicure module. It’s fully compatible with MercuryFoam’s other mods and won’t override them, so you can use both together without issues.

In addition to letting your Sim care for and paint their own nails at home, this module also allows them to create custom press-on nails to sell or remove. You can find the items in Build Mode by searching the keyword "QMBiBi."

🔸Manicure and Pedicure at Home🔸
Sims can paint their own nails at home and choose from a variety of preset nail polish styles available in the game.

🔸Customized Manicure🔸
Choosing the customized manicure option is supposed to take your Sim into CAS mode, where you can select any CC nails you like.
(From my own testing: this feature seems to have some issues. After selecting it, 55 Simoleons are deducted, but the Sim doesn’t enter CAS and nothing happens. I tested it with no other mods installed and experienced the same result.)
— This may have been fixed in the latest update.

🔸Remove Painted Nails🔸
When you use this option, a blank nail or toenail polish will replace any existing nail polish your Sim is wearing.

Once you apply a new nail polish, it should be replaced with the style you selected.
(My personal testing: after removing the nail polish, I immediately selected a new one, but my Sim’s nails remained unpolished. I suspect the hidden buff from the blank nail polish wasn’t cleared properly. So, it’s recommended to wait a bit after removing the polish before applying a new one.)
— This may have been fixed in the latest update.

You can also create nail art and sell it on ploppsy.

🔸Other Adjustments and Overrides🔸
Removed the default preset that adds a sparkling visual effect to hands after applying nail polish.

Additionally, the default duration of nail polish—originally set to 1 day—has been extended to last about a week.
