Mod Description
Are you also wondering why your Sim still can't write manuals (skill books) even though he has all the skills at max level? I also asked until I found out that only Sims with the Chronicler (Professorial) trait have this privilege. Really now? Yes, the description says: Professorial Sims can write helpful manuals about any skill they're well-versed in. Complete the Renaissance Sim Aspiration to get this trait. I'm sorry, what? I'm sorry, but I don't see that. With this mod, any Sim can now write a tutorial once they have reached the required skill level.
My main idea is not to overwrite anything! This is my highest priority in modding. So my mod is completely different than e.g. the similar mod from plasticbox. So it is not an adoption, but a fundamentally new mod. How does my mod work? Any Sim that is at least level 5 in Writing and level 5 in Logic can activate the Skill Book Writing interactions. This activation gives the sim the Chronicler trait so all skill books now unlock without having to override interactions. This doesn't change the fact that a skill book in skill X can only be written from level 5 in skill X (for archeology, exceptionally 8, whether it was set that way by mistake or on purpose by EA, I can only guess).
Compatibility
No game resources will be overwritten, so I don't expect any compatibility issues.
