React to Alien Abduction

This mod is still compatible with Patch 1.124

This mod was suggested by a member on Patreon. It adds chaotic, sim-style reactions when someone gets abducted by aliens. All Sims will panic except for aliens, who will either watch and laugh or react in shock, depending on their traits. Toddlers will cry. They won't stop until the abducted Sim returns (you can either wait or end the abduction manually).

When panicking, they get a scared buff which you can't see but affects their emotion. After that, they get a hidden tense buff that lasts 100 mins.

You can also manually trigger alien abduction by clicking on a Sim that's young adult or older --> Actions --> Be Abducted. I made this to test the mod. Note that the Sim must be on their home lot, or the abduction won't happen.

Compatibility

This mod doesn't override any in-game resources so it's unlikely to conflict with other mods.
