Potty Not Strict

Potty training your toddler shouldn't come with a pop-up interrogating your parenting style. Potty Not Strict removes the "New Family Dynamic: Strict" dialog from the potty training interaction so you can just… teach your kid to use the toilet in peace.

Why You Need This

Potty training is one of the most nurturing things you can do with a toddler — so why does the game treat it as evidence that you're a strict parent? The popup feels like a misfire, and for players who are carefully managing family dynamics, having a strict dynamic suggested from something as gentle and fundamental as bathroom instruction is genuinely annoying. This mod simply removes the prompt.

How It Works

With Growing Together installed, the first time an eligible adult potty trains a related toddler under the right conditions, the game normally fires a "New Family Dynamic: Strict" dialog prompting you to assign that relationship style. This mod removes that trigger from the potty training interaction only.

What's preserved:

• All other potty training outcome logic is completely intact
• The Strict family dynamic popup triggered by other socials and interactions is unaffected — only potty training is changed

Installation

1. Download deadlystingnyc-potty-not-strict.package
2. Drop it into your Mods folder: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/

No script file needed — just the .package.

This mod overrides one EP13 interaction tuning. It will conflict with any other mod that touches the same resource:
