No Lifestyle Cap Notification

You're playing through a snowy evening in Mt. Komorebi, your Sim is living their best life, and then a popup appears to let you know they've hit their lifestyle daily cap. Thanks for the interruption. No Lifestyle Cap Notification makes sure that never happens again.

Why You Need This

The "Lifestyle Daily Cap Reached" notification doesn't ask anything of you and doesn't require any action. It's pure noise. It doesn't even tell you which lifestyle your Sim contributed to, so it manages to be both an interruption and completely uninformative at the same time. If you're deep in a gameplay session the last thing you need is a popup telling you something you didn't need to know. This mod removes it entirely.

How It Works

The "Lifestyle Daily Cap Reached" popup is suppressed entirely. That's it.

The other lifestyle notifications, "Lifestyle in Progress" and "Hidden Lifestyle in Progress", are completely unaffected.

Requirements

• The Sims 4
• Snowy Escape (EP11)

Installation

1. Download deadlystingnyc_no_lifestyle_cap_notification_v1.0.zip
2. Drop the unzipped folder into your Mods folder: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/
3. In-game, go to Game Options → Other and make sure Script Mods are enabled

Compatibility

• Compatible with other mods that modify lifestyle tuning or notification text
• Patches Python directly, so XML-based notification overrides do not conflict
