Just This Trash

Ask a Sim to pick up one piece of trash. Watch them spend the next ten minutes running around the entire lot cleaning up everything in sight. Just This Trash puts a stop to that — one task, one piece of trash, done.

Why You Need This

Vanilla Sims treat every trash pickup like a personal mission to sanitize the whole property. It hijacks their queue, kills your control, and turns a quick chore into an unwanted cleaning marathon. This mod restores sanity: Sims handle what you asked them to handle and move on.

How It Works

When a Sim picks up trash or empties a trash can, the game normally auto-queues additional pickup and disposal actions across the whole lot. This mod removes that chaining behavior entirely.

What's preserved:

• The Neat trait's Cleaning Frenzy interaction is untouched — that one's supposed to go all-out
• Fully compatible with the Bust the Dust kit — vacuum interactions use a separate system and are not affected

Requirements

• The Sims 4 — base game only, no packs required

Installation

1. Download deadlystingnyc_just_this_trash.package
2. Drop it into your Mods folder: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods/

No script file needed for this one — just the .package.

This mod overrides five base game interaction tunings. It will conflict with any other mod that touches the same resources:
