EA made some changes for the Lovestruck Patch so that more pool interactions are available for indoor pools independent of the weather.
Still not everything is covered, especially around autonomous interactions for mermaids and dogs and community pools still don't get any visitors in winter.
I started to work on an update to this mod, but I ran into some issues and it will take me some more time. After a long week of work, mod updates and bugs I will have to prioritize rest for a while, but I will get back to it.
For the time being you should remove this mod, so that it doesn't interfere with the changes for Lovestruck.
This lot trait will make any pools on the lot usable in winter. Sims will use it autonomously and a public pool venue with this lot trait will get visited by townies in winter.
Mod Functionality
If you use the Seasons expansion pools are not usable while the weather is freezing (except for swimming laps). This lot trait unlocks all pool interactions like "Float on back" and "Swim with...". Sims will now also use the pool autonomously.
A public pool venue in the vanilla game does not get ANY visitors during the winter season. With this lot trait a public pool will get visitors like in any other season.
I covered many interactions and items. So the jumpstand from Get Together will be used by sims autonomously, the kiddie pool works, dogs use the pool and mermaids will sleep in the water autonomously. If you come across anything that you would expect to work in an indoor pool but doesn't work with this mod, I'd appreciate if you leave me a comment.
Any lots WITHOUT the Indoor Pool lot trait won't be affected and will behave as in the vanilla game version. So you can still do the Polar Bear Plunge.
Packs Required
I guess Seasons is a requirement since there is no need for this mod if you did not have it.
Installation
Unzip and drag the package file into your Sims 4 Mods directory.
Compatibility
Any mod that changes swimming and pool interactions, the pool venue or pool objects is likely to be in conflict with this mod.
