Description
ABOUT
This mod injects a lot picker on every High School active job pop-up, which allows the player to control which High School venue the day takes place on. This same logic is applied to Career Day and Prom events: a pop-up to pick the Auditorium venue for the event is provided.
Graduation Logic:
Graduation is a globally scheduled event for all sims every Sunday, graduating unhides the event. (Unmodded behavior)
This mod adds an interaction to the Actions menu on sims, to allow them to unhide the graduation and enlist the active sim to the event. (Modded behavior, also allows Early Graduates to have a graduation!)
Once a sim is assigned to an event (visible on the Sunday calendar slot), only then a sim is able to Change Graduation Venue and pick an Auditorium lot in the save. (Modded behavior)
If a sim ages up from Teen to Young Adult, a graduation is scheduled instantly (Modded behavior, Maxis logic forces you to wait)
Student Logic:
This mod does not change how students are picked. The venue works like any other lot (visitors get pulled from a group of sims in the entire save). However, to make High School students be local, Home Regions by Kuttoe allows that only IF you set up the toggle to restrict the venue to Locals Only. This way, having a school per world will have varied sims participating in the school environment.
If High School Management by SonozakiSisters is installed, the hand-picked sims will appear as long as they live in that world. If you don't have enough lots for the hand-picked sims, use Home Regions' Move Townie interaction, which allows you to assign any sim (whether they live on a lot or not) to a specific world.
Uniforms:
Uniforms can be created using Fashion Authority by Lot51. If you want uniforms to be applied locally to each school, this mod makes that possible as well.
Prom & Graduation Attendee Logic:
This is the most disappointing part, but Prom and Graduation attendees are not affected by any mods and function like visitors to any other lot. Sims will show up from across the entire save. However, having an Auditorium to choose where these events are held is a compromise of sorts.
COMPATIBILITY
Most, if not all, mods touching High Schools should function just fine. The mod is just a tool for picking the location and that's it.
