Hot on the tails of Sims Santa comes Sims Easter Bunny! This mod reveals the horrifying truth about the Flower Bunny ... he's just a guy in a suit! But that's okay. Somewhere in our hearts I think we always knew that. It does another thing to. It allows our Sims to become the Flower Bunny and to change his outfit!
This mod was a bit tricky to do. Unlike Father Winter (who came in the same pack) Flower Bunny didn't actually have his own career and was instead based off the possession of the trait alone. The trait constantly applied the Flower Bunny outfit, which is what we don't want to happen. So in order to change this behavior I made an entirely new one-track, boring, no chance card NPC career just for Flower Bunny so he can have his own outfit that we can change and so we can have him go to work and such. I wonder if I didn't even need to make a career? Maybe next time I happen upon an NPC done this way I won't because having a null in the "work location" field led to hours of troubleshooting. But, in the end I solved it!
These changes mean existing Flower Bunnies will not retain their costumes and will be relieved of duty! Newly generated Flower Bunnies will have the suit, but only as their every day outfit and work clothes. I tried to set it as every single outfit, but that wasn't successful. It also makes the Flower Bunny mortal. No more never aging, never dying bun. Buuuuut, if you wanted a regular Flower Bunny you wouldn't have downloaded this mod, right?
You might also want to download my Grim Reaper Actions Unlocker mod which also unlocks actions for the Flower Bunny. To make him (or her) more playable.
Scarecrow NPC
I've removed all blocklists and restrictions from the Scarecrow. As you may expect adding the Scarecrow trait will define the Scarecrow. If you do this before generating an in-game Scarecrow it will use the Sim you define! However the friendship you generate with the object won't transfer over to the Sim you crate. In my test it picked out a Sim with no red clothes to replace the "Red Scarecrow"; I can't tell how the game color co-ordinates the Sim Scarecrows with the objects.
Like all my careers this requires the XML Injector. The trait can be found in the Rewards Store for $0. Just buy the trait and then find the career on your phone like all the other careers.
