Dish Delete
by deadlystingnyc
Your lot and zone are buried under dirty dishes, used glasses, and spoiled leftovers that would take forever for a Sim (or you) to clean up. Two cheat commands and they are all gone. Yes, even the ones stuck in weird inaccessible places! Dish Delete removes every abandoned dish from the current zone instantly, no Sims or live dragging required.
How It Works
Open the cheat console with Ctrl+Shift+C, enter testingcheats true, then:
- Type
dd_cleanfor a dry run that shows exactly what would be removed without deleting anything. - Type
dd_clean confirmto delete it all.
Poof, the nasty dishware is all gone! Every run prints a full readout to the console listing what was deleted and what was skipped, with a reason for each skip. Nothing is written to your hard drive.
What gets removed:
- Dirty plates and dish stacks
- Used drinking glasses and coffee cups
- Empty bottles
- Spoiled leftovers
- Kava bowls and grill food
What is never touched:
- Food that is still edible
- Dishes cooking inside an oven or microwave
- Anything a Sim is currently carrying or using
- Anything stored in an inventory
- Cookware of any kind: frying pans mid-recipe, mixing bowls, cutting boards, prepped ingredient trays, coffee makers, and tea makers all stay exactly where they are
⚠️ Deletion cannot be undone. Run
dd_cleanfirst and read the list before runningdd_clean confirm.

All Commands
| Command | What It Does |
|---|---|
dd_clean |
Dry run. Reports what would be deleted, deletes nothing. |
dd_clean confirm |
Deletes the dishes and lists every object removed. |
dd_state |
Show mod state: zone loads, last scan counts, total deleted. |
dd_clean is always safe to run first. It only looks for what qualifies for deletion in the zone.
Compatibility
- No tuning overrides. Patches Python directly, making conflicts with other mods unlikely.
