Childhood Phases Fix

There is a bug that prevents child or teen Sims that have been aged up in a short lifespan save to experience Parenthood's childhood phases. This mod fixes this issue.

Mod Functionality

Without the mod childhood phases will only happen in normal or long lifespan saves. Children or teens in short lifespan saves might only experience them if they are created directly in CAS but NEVER if they are aged up in game.

A technical explanation for those that are interested: A childhood phase can occur when a kind of countdown timer finishes. On a birthday this timer is set to its maximum value of 7 days, which basically deletes the feature in short lifespan saves. My mod makes sure that this value is set to a random value between 3 and 7 days on age up. After that time there is a chance that a childhood phase is entered (it won't be triggered every time).

If you play on normal or long lifespan childhood phases might happen a little earlier than usual with the mod

Packs required

You need to have Parenthood.

Installation

Unzip and drag the package file into your Sims 4 Mods directory.

Compatibility

This mod just changes a very specific tuning file, so it's extremely unlikely to be in conflict with other mods.
