Let your Sims them autonomously water, weed, spray and evolve Plants and more
How the Mod works
This Main Mod adds hidden Buffs to Sims with the Trait Plant Lover which lets them autonomously water, weed, spray and evolve Plants. You can easily add/remove Traits to Sims via new options on Plants:
- Add Plant Lover Trait to (manually add cheat would be: traits.equip_trait PlantLover)
- Remove Plant lover Trait from (manually remove cheat would be: traits.remove_trait PlantLover)
The Buffs get added at 10am for around five hrs. (In the Gallery is shown where you can change the times if you want them to get added at a different time frame.)
All Autonomously Behaviour is based on Buffs only so it may take a moment for the effect to set in!
Optional Addons
Autonomous Gardening Addon – Harvesting (with/without Flowers)
With this Addon i added new Options to Plants (this should also work for CC Plants & Co unless they use custom Harvesting interactions):
- Harvest Fruits, Veggies and Herbs
- Harvest Flowers
- Disable/Enable Auto Harvesting
This will let your Sims only harvest those certain Plants manually as well as autonomously (default only Fruits, Veggies and Herbs).
You can disable and enable the Auto Harvesting via Plants in case you want to pause the auto harvesting for a while.
If you want your Sims to autonomously harvest Flowers as well you’ll need the extra Package “HarvestFlowers” too!
All Autonomously Behaviour is based on Buffs only so it may take a moment for the effect to set in!
Unfortunately some Plants (like basil) are tagged as Herbs as well as Flowers so they’ll get harvested either way.
Autonomous Gardening Addon – Fertilizing
This will let your Sims fertilize Plants autonomously. It costs 10$ per Plant. They’ll only fertilize a Plant every 7 Days.
Autonomous Gardening Addon – Buyable Fertilizer
This adds a buyable Fertilizer (found under Decorative – Miscellaneous) which has buy options for Super Fertilizer and Fungal Infusion Fertilizer.
Autonomous Gardening Addon – Moisture Weed Infestation Decay (Can be used as a Standalone Mod)
With this Addon I decreased the Decay Commodities of Moisture (1 to 0,5), Weed (0,25 to 0,125) and Infestation (0,75 to 0,15).
Autonomous Gardening Addon – No Puddles Outside (Can be used as a Standalone Mod)
This Addon prevents Puddles from appearing outside. There is still a change for puddles inside!
Autonomous Gardening Addon – No Talking to Plants (Can be used as a Standalone Mod)
This Addon prevents Sims from talking to Plants autonomously.
Autonomous Gardening Addon – No Research Plants (Can be used as a Standalone Mod)
This Addon prevents Sims from researching Plants autonomously.
