CatQuest Voices — quest voice pack

This is a voice pack for the CatQuest addon. It does nothing on its own — CatQuest is required.

What's inside

• 🎙 5,095 WoW Forever quests, levels 1–60 (Russian client) — 98% of all level 1–60 quests that have text in Forever: the quest text when you accept it and the reward text when you turn it in. 9,100 texts, 55 hours of speech.
• 🧝 1,900+ NPCs speak in 150 voices chosen by race, gender and look; heroes and creatures have voices of their own. Where the text depends on your character's gender, there are separate male and female versions.
• 😮 Laughs, sighs and whispers where the text has them; stage directions are read by a narrator.

Checked before release

• Every text is compared with the original English text of WoW Forever; about 780,000 stress marks are placed before synthesis; voices are matched against each NPC's in-game model.

Installation

• With the CurseForge app it is installed together with CatQuest.
• Manually: put the CatQuest_Voices folder into World of Warcraft_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns\, next to CatQuest.
• After installing or updating, fully restart the game — /reload is not enough for the client to see new sound files.
• Check: /cq selftest → "quest pack loaded".

Good to know

• The voice-over is synthesized from the in-game texts. The voices are inspired by the characters and are not recordings, voices or performances of any actor, nor presented as such.
• Missing voice-over or a wrong voice — type /cq export in game and send the report to the author.

Что внутри

Проверено до выхода

• Каждый текст сверен с английским оригиналом WoW Forever; около 780 000 ударений расставлено до синтеза; голоса сверены с игровыми моделями NPC.

Установка

• Через приложение CurseForge ставится вместе с аддоном CatQuest.
• Вручную: папка CatQuest_Voices — в World of Warcraft_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns\, рядом с CatQuest.
• После установки или обновления полностью перезапустите игру — /reload не хватает, чтобы клиент увидел новые звуки.
• Проверка: /cq selftest → «пак квестов загружен».

Важно знать

• Озвучка синтезирована по текстам из игры. Голоса вдохновлены образами персонажей и не являются записями, голосами или исполнением каких-либо актёров и не выдаются за них.
• Нет озвучки у квеста или голос не подходит — /cq export в игре и прислать отчёт автору.
