CatQuest Codex is a zone journal for WoW Forever (Russian client, ruRU). It turns each zone into a page: its story, its places, what you have done there and what is still left. A module for CatQuest, opens in the same CatQuest window (/cq, minimap button).

Places — one page per zone:

• the story of the zone in a few lines, with a Listen button (narrated by CatQuest);
• progress at a glance: story chapters, places discovered on the map, books found, quests done;
• Next in the story — which chapter you are on and where to go; one click puts a waypoint on the map;
• Quests without spoilers: in your log, available right now (click — waypoint at the quest giver), and the rest as "??? N more ahead" — they unlock as you progress, the way the game does it;
• Places to visit — every area of the zone map, discovered or not, and whether it has a story to listen to;
• a Zone cleared seal when you have finished the whole zone: all chapters, all places, all quests.

Zone story — 600+ story chapters across 80+ zones, built from quest chains: read the chapter, listen to it again, see which chapters are done. Chapters you have not started stay hidden ("???").

Library — 520+ books, letters and plaques, shelved by zone. Books you have read can be listened to again; the rest are "???" with the zone they are in.

• WoW Forever library books (the librarian quest line with rewards at 10, 20 and 25 books): progress, the next reward, where to turn in, and a pin on the world map and minimap with a hint where each book lies.
• Optional: pins for all books and plaques (for lorekeepers; locations are not verified yet).

Notifications — a small toast when something meaningful happens: a chapter completed, a zone story finished, a zone cleared, a new book found, a library book turned in. Click — opens the Codex on that page. Can be turned off in the options.

Works from the first minute: progress is taken from the server, so quests and areas completed before you installed the Codex count too.

Requires CatQuest 0.5.2 or newer. Voice packs are optional: without CatQuest Books the Listen buttons are silent, everything else works.

Command: /cq codex. Found a book in a place where the Codex does not expect it? /cq export — your finds go to the author and improve the map for everyone.

CatQuest Codex — журнал зон для WoW Forever (русский клиент). Каждая локация — одна страница: её история, её места, что вы там уже сделали и что ещё осталось. Модуль к CatQuest, открывается в том же окне CatQuest (/cq, значок у миникарты).

Места — страница на каждую зону:

• история зоны в нескольких строках и кнопка «Слушать» (читает рассказчик CatQuest);
• прогресс одним взглядом: главы сюжета, открытые на карте места, найденные книги, выполненные квесты;
• «Дальше по истории» — на какой вы главе и куда идти; один клик — метка на карте;
• Квесты без спойлеров: в журнале, можно взять прямо сейчас (клик — метка у того, кто выдаёт) и остальное строкой «??? ещё N впереди» — откроются по ходу, как в самой игре;
• Места для посещения — все области карты зоны, открытые и нет, и есть ли у места рассказ;
• печать «Зона зачищена», когда зона закрыта целиком: все главы, все места, все квесты.

История зоны — больше 600 глав сюжета в 80+ зонах, собранных из цепочек квестов: перечитать главу, послушать заново, увидеть, что пройдено. Не начатые главы скрыты («???»).

Библиотека — больше 520 книг, писем и табличек по полкам зон. Прочитанные можно послушать снова, остальные — «???» и зона, где искать.

• Книги библиотек Forever (цепочка библиотекаря с наградами за 10, 20 и 25 книг): прогресс, следующая награда, кому сдавать, и метка на карте мира и миникарте с подсказкой, где лежит каждая книга.
• По желанию — значки всех книг и табличек (для лоркиперов; места ещё не проверены).

Уведомления — небольшой тост, когда случилось что-то важное: глава пройдена, сюжет зоны пройден, зона зачищена, найдена новая книга, сдана книга библиотеки. Клик — Кодекс на этой странице. Выключаются в настройках.

Работает с первой минуты: прогресс берётся с сервера, поэтому квесты и места, пройденные до установки Кодекса, тоже засчитываются.

Нужен CatQuest 0.5.2 или новее. Паки озвучки — по желанию: без CatQuest Books кнопки «Слушать» молчат, остальное работает.

Команда: /cq codex. Нашли книгу там, где Кодекс её не ждёт? /cq export — находки уходят автору и делают карту точнее для всех.
