OmniSequence: Transfinite

An endgame AE2 and ExtendedAE addon featuring molecular rewriting, transfinite crafting storage, massive parallel processing, and quantum-linked multiblocks.

OmniSequence: Transfinite

OmniSequence: Transfinite expands Applied Energistics 2 and ExtendedAE with research-driven fabrication, large pattern libraries, parallel crafting CPUs, and quantum-linked multiblocks. Turn a material-processing workshop into a factory that maintains its own supplies, handles demanding crafting requests, and eventually harvests resources and duplicates items through singularity technology.

Available for Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge and Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge, on both client and server.

Build your production system

Matter Fabrication Well

The Matter Fabrication Well is the starting point of the mod's progression. Its white, silver, and gold chamber combines material processing with research that unlocks more advanced machines.

  • Supply items and fluids through dedicated input ports, and collect products through output ports or ME storage.
  • Install Pattern Assemblies, each holding 36 processing patterns, to run well recipes directly from AE2 crafting requests.
  • Research new production branches and deepen them to increase the parallelism and processing speed of their associated well recipes.
  • Run research alongside material processing, with progress saved in the well controller.

The research screen can order missing materials from ME autocrafting and keep preparing them until research starts. Hold Shift to order all remaining research levels at once: the material list shows the complete cost, and one research run completes the remaining levels. You can cancel during preparation; once ordered research begins, it runs to completion when its operating conditions are available.

Sequence Array

The Sequence Array brings a large pattern library and automatic stock maintenance into a floating crown-shaped multiblock.

  • 7,200 main-library pattern slots by default, configurable up to 10,800.
  • A shared library accessible through the Pattern Access Terminal and the structure's 14 quantum crystals.
  • Nine independent automatic crafting positions, with separate switches, product stock targets, and ingredient reserves.
  • Structure projection, automatic construction, controlled dismantling, and adjustable colors.

Use it to organize a large factory's recipes and keep frequently used components stocked. With the optional ExtendedAE Plus upload core, supported patterns encoded on the same ME network can upload into the formed array automatically.

Omni-Computation Core and Transfinite Compute Nexus

The Omni-Computation Core is a large floating multiblock for handling concurrent ME crafting requests. It creates independent virtual crafting CPU lanes and provides very large logical crafting storage.

Prefer a compact installation? The Transfinite Compute Nexus brings the virtual CPU system into one block. Connect it to a powered ME network with one channel, then submit and monitor jobs through AE2's terminals.

Both devices work with the required AppliedEnhancements companion mod for large crafting requests and planning. Their actual throughput depends on ingredients, energy, receiving machines, and output capacity. The nexus has configurable idle power and needs an externally loaded chunk to operate continuously.

Compact crafting machines

Machine What it does
Molecular Sequence Rewrite Array Executes crafting, smithing, and stonecutting patterns inside one block, with 360 pattern slots and large-batch support for eligible recipes.
Assembler Matrix Sequence Rewrite Core Installs inside an ExtendedAE Assembler Matrix to provide large-batch crafting and reusable-input handling.
Molecular Auto Crafter Maintains stock with nine independent pattern positions, ingredient reserves, and output targets; sends products to ME or selected adjacent containers.

Supported recipes preserve container returns and reusable tools. Completed products wait in internal buffers when storage is unavailable.

Progress through research

Research stage Unlocks
AE Foundation Material processing and Fabrication Pattern Assemblies.
Sequence Array The Sequence Array and molecular crafting machines.
Omni Computation The Omni-Computation Core, Transfinite Compute Nexus, and their components.
Event Horizon Miniature Black Holes, Miniature White Holes, and the Event Horizon Singularity Hub.

After AE Foundation, the two second-stage branches can progress independently. Event Horizon requires completing both branches, and its initial research consumes the combined construction materials for a Sequence Array and an Omni-Computation Core.

Default research branches have nine completion levels. Deeper levels cost more materials and improve the associated fabrication recipes, reaching one-tick processing at the final level. Recipe and research screens show compact K / M / G quantities; hover to see exact amounts.

AdvancedAE is optional for loading the base mod, but required for the complete default progression, including Omni Computation and Event Horizon.

Event Horizon Singularity Hub

The Event Horizon Singularity Hub is the resource-production centerpiece of the endgame. Its animated rings and singularity effects accompany two production workflows connected to your ME network.

Collect resources simultaneously

The resource collection page lists every item the hub can produce. Its resource pool comes from configurable item tags, including raw ores and logs by default, so modded resources join the list when they use the relevant tags.

  • Every eligible item type is produced together, without switching between selected resources.
  • Default production is 1,000 of each item every 20 ticks—about one second at normal TPS.
  • Add any item tags to expand the resource pool, and exclude exact item IDs with the blacklist.
  • Products enter connected ME item storage; collection waits when it cannot store more.
  • Starting and stopping collection controls the structure's startup, moving rings, and docking animation.

Generate Singularity Sequence Matter and duplicate items

Place up to 64 Miniature Black Holes in the duplication page to generate Singularity Sequence Matter, an animated fluid stored directly in ME fluid storage. Each additional black hole increases potential production and energy consumption.

  • Supply FE from energy sources adjacent to the controller or AE from its connected ME network.
  • Configure energy priority, energy costs, output per black hole, and production interval.
  • Default generation is 20 mB per black hole every 20 ticks.
  • Insert an item into the sample slot to copy it. Each copy consumes 1,000 mB (1 B) of stored fluid and preserves the original sample and its item data.
  • Copies go to ME item storage. The interface displays FE and AE consumption separately.

Matter generation starts automatically with black holes, accessible energy, and fluid storage available. It can continue while the sample slot is empty or resource collection is stopped.

Miniature Black Holes and White Holes

These singularities also work as placeable devices. A Miniature Black Hole gradually pulls nearby dropped items and eligible non-player entities toward its center, then transfers them to the Miniature White Hole in the same dimension. Players are excluded.

Each dimension allows one placed Miniature White Hole. Multiple black holes can share its exit, and the white hole keeps its own chunk loaded while present. Black holes need a loaded source chunk and an existing white-hole destination to operate.

Build, connect, and recover

Large machines include structure projections, assisted construction, and controlled dismantling. Construction uses the player's inventory first, then connected ME storage. Dismantling returns materials to ME first, then the player, retaining progress when destinations are full.

Paired Quantum Entangled Singularities connect supported controllers to remote AE2 quantum bridges, including across dimensions. The link can supply construction materials before a structure is complete and adds 512 AE/t and one channel to the connection's requirements.

Configurable multiblock chunk loading keeps required areas active. Supported machines save research, accepted jobs, materials, and pending products so interrupted work can resume after the structure, network, and power are restored.

Guides and modpack customization

  • English and Chinese in-game documentation, accessible through AE2's guide hotkey, default G.
  • JEI integration for fabrication recipes, research requirements, and multiblock construction information.
  • Datapack and KubeJS support for custom fabrication recipes, research costs, prerequisites, unlocks, and compatible machine-recipe imports.
  • Configurable collection tags and blacklist, production rates, energy costs, construction speed, chunk loading, and visual detail.
  • Public research and batch-provider APIs for addon developers.

Recipe and structure caches, periodic stock checks, and scheduled construction and dispatch work reduce repeated server work. Visual detail can be adjusted for your client. Production rates still follow the server's tick rate and available machine capacity.

Installation and compatibility

Install Applied Energistics 2, ExtendedAE, and AppliedEnhancements separately, together with the libraries required by their matching files.

Minecraft Mod loader Java AE2 family
1.20.1 Forge 17 Upstream AE2 15.4.10+ within 15.x, or a matching UELM build.
1.21.1 NeoForge 21 AE2 19.2.17+.

The NeoForge build also requires LDLib2. Use compatible Glodium and GuideME dependencies where required. Check the selected download's dependency list for exact versions; Forge and NeoForge files require their matching companion mods.

Recommended: JEI for recipes and construction information. Optional integrations: AdvancedAE for the full default research route, and ExtendedAE Plus for pattern uploading.

Install matching OmniSequence and dependency builds on both client and server. Enable one OmniSequence JAR per instance.
