OmniSequence: Transfinite

OmniSequence: Transfinite is an endgame expansion for Applied Energistics 2 and ExtendedAE, built for extremely large automation networks.

It introduces molecular rewriting, transfinite crafting storage, 64-bit crafting quantities, massive parallel processing, quantum-linked multiblocks, and an optimized crafting-plan calculator designed for deeply nested recipes.

Omni Computation Core

The Omni Computation Core is a large endgame multiblock that provides:

Effectively unrestricted logical crafting storage backed by 64-bit limits.
Massive logical crafting parallelism.
Dynamically allocated virtual AE2 crafting CPU channels.
Accelerated crafting-plan calculation for large and repetitive recipe trees.
Duplicate subtree merging and batch topological calculation.
Safe fallback to AE2's original algorithm for unsupported recipes.
Compatibility-aware batch material dispatch.
A black-purple crystal visual theme with animated celestial and quantum effects.
Built-in light emission and hostile natural-spawn suppression around the structure.

The optimized calculator only aggregates deterministic recipes. Substitution patterns, contextual inputs, container-returning recipes, durability tools, dynamic recipes, and unknown custom patterns automatically fall back to AE2's standard calculation path.

A dedicated molecular crafting multiblock featuring:

Up to 720 encoded pattern slots by default.
Configurable interface page capacity.
High-speed parallel recipe execution.
Persistent output buffering and ME network delivery.
Correct handling of container items and reusable crafting tools.
ExtendedAE Plus pattern-container compatibility.
One-click multiblock dismantling.

Assembler Matrix Sequence Rewrite Core

An advanced functional core for the ExtendedAE Assembler Matrix:

Replaces ordinary crafting and speed-core behavior while installed.
Supports large-scale parallel crafting.
Preserves recipe container items and remaining items.
Aggregates outputs before returning them to the ME network.
Uses persistent buffers to prevent item loss during temporary network interruptions.

64-Bit AE2 Crafting

OmniSequence extends supported AE2 quantity paths beyond the traditional signed 32-bit limit:

Crafting orders can use values above 2,147,483,647.
The configurable order limit supports values up to Long.MAX_VALUE.
Supported infinite item sources are displayed using 64-bit quantities.
Transfinite crafting storage uses 64-bit logical capacity values.

These limits do not preallocate an equivalent amount of memory. Actual performance still depends on the recipe tree, available materials, network size, and installed integrations.

Entangled Quantum Links

Both major multiblock structures support remote AE network connections through entangled quantum technology:

Connect a controller to a remote AE2 Quantum Ring using paired entangled singularities.
Automatically rebuild invalidated virtual connections when conditions recover.
Access the ME network before multiblock formation for construction purposes.
Before formation, network access is limited to withdrawing materials required to build the structure.
Full machine functionality becomes available only after the multiblock is complete.

Molecular Matter Rewriting

The Molecular Sequence Rewrite Array can deconstruct and reproduce supported items using four configurable sequence types:

Metal
Mineral
Crystal
Organic

Matter values are controlled through a configurable JSON rule system. Exact item rules can override item-tag rules, allowing modpack authors to define their own progression and balance.

Items containing custom data—such as enchantments, custom names, durability, or stored contents—are rejected to prevent accidental data loss or unintended duplication.

Multiblock Improvements

Construction materials can be extracted from a connected ME network.
One-click structure dismantling is available from the controller interface.
Structure state, buffers, tasks, and processing progress are persisted.

Advanced AE is not a required dependency. Advanced-AE-related Omni Computation Core content is only displayed when Advanced AE is installed.

Installation

Install Minecraft 1.21.1 with a compatible NeoForge version.
Install Applied Energistics 2, ExtendedAE, and their required dependencies.
Place the OmniSequence: Transfinite JAR in the mods directory.
Install the same mod version on both the client and server.

Configuration

Server-side configuration includes options for:

Maximum 64-bit AE2 crafting order amount.
MAX_FAST crafting-plan aggregation mode.
Maximum aggregated recipe-tree size.
Crafting-plan compilation time budget.
Diagnostic logging.
Batch material dispatch.
Substitution-pattern batch compatibility.
Multiblock interface page capacity.
Matter rewrite rules and values.

Unsafe or unsupported optimization cases automatically return to standard AE2 behavior instead of forcing an incompatible accelerated path.

Compatibility Notes

OmniSequence modifies several internal AE2 and ExtendedAE crafting systems through mixins and access transformers. Exact compatibility may depend on the installed versions of AE2-related addons.
