🌟 What is Lumina?

Lumina keeps the vanilla soul of Minecraft and polishes everything you look at all day: trees, caves, the sky, the menus and the HUD. Every texture and model is drawn from scratch, so it blends with the game instead of replacing it.

Leaves and ores are built on top of the textures you already use, which means Lumina works as an add-on for any other resource pack. Put it above your favourite pack and keep its look, plus Lumina's extras.

🌳 Bushy Leaves

Forests finally look like forests. Every leaf block gets an extra layer of foliage that breaks the blocky silhouette.

• 🍃 All 14 leaf types: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry, azalea, flowering azalea, pale oak and the new orange, red and yellow poplars of 26.x.
• 🎲 2 variants × 4 rotations per leaf type, so your forest never shows a repeating pattern.
• 🪵 Leaves never clip into logs or ground: the outer layer hides itself where it touches solid blocks.
• 📦 Clean icons: in your inventory and hand, leaves still look like crisp, normal cubes.
• 🌸 Cherry petals, azalea flowers and autumn poplars each have their own hand-picked colours.

💎 Glowing Ores

Brand new gems for all 18 ores (stone, deepslate and Nether): big, vivid and easy to spot.

• 🔦 On 1.21.4 and newer the gems emit their own light: you will see diamonds and redstone shining in dark caves!
• 🪨 The stone behind them is the one from your game, so ores fit any terrain.

🌌 Aurora Menu & Fantasy Sky

• 🏔️ New main menu panorama: sunset, stepped block-style mountains, northern lights, stars, a crescent moon and a mirror lake that reflects it all.
• ☀️ Sun with a soft halo and rays.
• 🌙 8 moon phases with craters and a gentle glow.
• ☁️ New clouds with softer shapes.
• 🟣 The End sky with purple and teal nebulae and stars.

🪟 Glass UI

• 🔘 Dark glass buttons, sliders, checkboxes and text fields with a cyan → violet glow when you hover.
• 💬 Gradient tooltips and a violet menu background with matching separators.
• 🎯 Modern hotbar with a glowing selector, a gradient XP bar and a clean crosshair.

❤️ Redrawn HUD

• ❤️ Hearts in every state: normal, poisoned, withered, frozen, absorption, hardcore and vehicle, each with its blinking version.
• 🍗 Hunger: a tasty drumstick, with its green "Hunger effect" variant.
• 🛡️ Armour: a shiny chestplate icon.

🧼 Clarity & Comfort

• 🔍 Clean glass with a thin border, plus 16 translucent stained glass colours (blocks and panes).
• 🌊 Crystal water with soft animated ripples. Biome colours are kept.
• 🧊 Clear ice you can see through.
• 🌧️ Calm rain and snow: thinner drops and flakes so you can see while it's storming.
• 🎃 Clean pumpkin overlay: wearing a carved pumpkin leaves only a soft frame.
• 🛡️ Low shield: takes less of your screen, idle and blocking.
• 💬 50+ new splash texts in English and Spanish.

📋 Feature support by version

💡 Where a feature is marked "—", the vanilla look stays in place. Nothing breaks.

📦 Installation

1. ⬇️ Download the .zip and do not unzip it.
2. 📂 Put it in .minecraft/resourcepacks (or use Open Pack Folder in the game).
3. 🎮 In game, go to Options → Resource Packs and move Lumina to the right column.
4. 🔝 Tip: if you use other packs, put Lumina above them to get bushy leaves and glowing ores on top of their textures.

🧩 Compatibility

• ✅ Loaders: vanilla, Forge, NeoForge, Fabric and Quilt. It's only a resource pack.
• ✅ Sodium / Embeddium / Iris: it only uses standard resource pack features. For the best FPS with bushy leaves, Sodium or Embeddium is recommended.
• ✅ Shaders: Lumina is a normal resource pack, so it works alongside shader packs.
• ✅ OptiFine: not needed. Every feature is vanilla.
• ⚠️ Packs that replace the same leaf or ore models will conflict. Move Lumina above or below depending on which you prefer.

Can I use it in my modpack?
Yes. Just keep a link to this page. 💜

Will it make my game lag?
Bushy leaves add some faces to trees. On a low-end PC, pair Lumina with Sodium or Embeddium and your FPS will be fine.

Why are there more leaf types on 26.x?
The poplar leaves only exist in newer versions of the game. On older versions Lumina simply skips them.
