DESCRIPTION

Keep your shield down and your view clear.

Shields are useful, but in first-person Minecraft they can take up a lot of screen space, especially when you're holding one up during a fight.

Lower Shields By PeakMC6725 moves the shield lower on your screen in first-person view, helping you see more of your opponent while keeping the shield's normal functionality.

🛡️ Features

• Lower shield position: Moves the shield down in first-person view.

• Main-hand and off-hand support: Adjusts the shield when held in either hand.

• Blocking support: The lowered appearance also applies while blocking.

• Banner patterns remain visible: Your shield's banner design can still be seen.

• Normal gameplay: Blocking behavior and shield mechanics remain unchanged.

• Client-side: Other players and servers do not need to install the pack.

• Lightweight design: Designed to have minimal performance impact.

The changes are visual. Third-person views and the shield's inventory appearance are intended to remain unchanged.

Older versions are not officially supported, and compatibility is not guaranteed.

🛠️ Installation

1. Download the .zip file.

2. Do not unzip it.

3. Open Minecraft and go to Options → Resource Packs.

4. Click Open Pack Folder.

5. Put the .zip file into the folder.

6. Return to Minecraft and move the pack from Available to Selected.

7. Click Done.

For the best results, move this pack above other resource packs that modify the same shield models or textures. Press F3 + T to reload resources if necessary.
