The Kingdoms have long been ravaged. The dragons have all returned to deep subterranean abodes. You're job is to reunite the land, to bring it under your iron-fisted control and for this you will need a fierce dragon of your own that you have bent to our own will.
You appear in a land ravaged by eternal winter. Will you make an igloo and escape the onslaught of the murderous entities that roam the land forever protected by the blizzards of doom or will you dig deep underground to establish safe haven where you'll practice dark magic and sinister science to open portals to lands free of this hellish dimension of snow and ice?
Whatever you do, a dragon buddy will be your necessary bestie!

Can we deactivate the snow particles because to shoot videos it is not cool to render
In reply to GK_Manoir:
particles is a clientside feature, deactivate whatever you need.
Do I understand correctly, that I can remove SecurityCraft from server with already generated world without any side-effects? I don't use it's features.
In reply to FractalizeRVld:
why do you want to remove it from the server tho? Removing it from the server won't save you anything. Removing it from the client won't help you there either. The mod is heavily optimized and lightweight compared to other mods in the pack.
However, don't stop at removing it from the server, remove it from the client too.
Good uses for Security Craft are for when you don't want to make a chunk claim somewhere but you would like to make a building that nobody can remove the blocks thereof except for you, and you want to control access to the building with a secure keypad entry.
Or, you're in a group where you have claimed stuff, but someone in the group likes to use all the diamonds when everyone else is offline. Solution, make a secured chest that requires a keycode to open. These chests are explosion resistant too. Put your valuables in it, store the chest in the storage room of your base. No need to hide the chest because you secured it.
Or, maybe you hate the mob spawns that happen around your base, simple solution, make a boat load of bouncing betties and place them around the base. These are pressure activated land mines that launch into the air and spread shrapnel everywhere.
Also, lasers, security cameras that are more than cosmetic.
to reiterate, if you still feel you don't want it, i really recommend removing it from both sides.

Thanks for an answer. To clarify - I'm caring about Minecraft loading times. It takes about three minutes to startup and it's something unusual for me. So I usually drop all I don't need.
Also, I sometimes add new mods to your modpack on my server (Gravestones for instance) and I'm trying not to make loading times increase. I would also drop Unearthed if I could ;) I'm using realistic resource pack to improve textures and modern shaders, but underground I am walking along is ugly ;) Also I found out that Uneathed stone variants are not direct substitutes for originals (you can't bake XXXCobbleStone to make regular Stone, I can't grind it in Mekanism machines to make gravel like I can do with ore variants etc). Also because of so many *stone* variants I expect building MineColony to be more difficult than before. Regular cobblestone and stone is rare now. But I can't remove this mod because this seem to break the world (looks like all the mod blocks will br replaced with stone on uninstallation). Although these StoneProblems of mine can add some intrigue to gameplay after all.
Thank you for your hard work on this modpack! It's great!
In reply to FractalizeRVld:
Remove Ice and Fire if you want it to boot in under a minute. Seriously. but then there goes those dragons, stymphalian birids, etc. I only include minecolonies because I want players that don't like to explore or do tech/magic to have something they can do. honestly remove minecolonies to boost the boot time.
Cool modpack!
- Is it snowy everywhere or I can find other non-snowy biomes too?
- How to make grass go to other dirt blocks when it snows?
In reply to FractalizeRVld:
all biomes are covered in Eternal Primal Snow, all water is frozen.
There are other dimensions, underground cave biomes, etc.
You can craft grass blocks btw, and lot of other stuff you can't normally craft. I made sure those are in the game.
you can also build your minecolonies underground, they've had that feature for about 2 years now.
just dig up the blocks and transplant them under ground to make your gardens.
If you require sunlight use Diamond Glass slabs and stairs to make a nice green house top. not these are also wither proof.
Pretty cool for them to add a server-pack to download... Not that cool when you realize that there's no jar file in there to run...
In reply to OtakuAnime:
you will see a file called CURRENT_INSTALLER it is a text file, if you open it you will see it contains link. grab it and paste it in your browser to get the installer the pack was built against. Then run it and choose extract server, everything that comes out of that operation you place in the server packs folder.

I don't add the jars because it violates license. The Minecraft Server jar must be downloaded from Mojang per their license. Until they change it I won't include it automatically. Forge has a similar clause in their license.
License are real and when folks want to enforce their license if you're in the wrong things can get very negative very quick. I've on the negative end twice in my life so far. I do not intend to be there again.
