It's much harder to craft now and you're going to have to fight the wither atleast twice, as well as fight a warden twice, as well as get silk touch.

For example to get dirt you would spell dirt. Consult the JEI for many things. After dirt you might consider crafting life to get your first saplings. Plant the sapling on the dirt, and twerk to make it grow. Harvest enough trees to gain apples so you don't starve.
