This modpack aims to make the mining part of Minecraft as fun as it can be while still offering challenge in the ways of forging tools, dealing with cave-ins and killing critters.
Adventure
The overworld has nothing but chickens, dig into the ground to find it's riches, it's populace, and maybe even the legendary ancient city.
Mining
The tool progression has been entirely overhauled for a slower and more nuanced version. Now you must gather flint and sticks to make an axe, you must find and mine copper instead of stone, and steel is a pain to make for the unprepared.
Technology
In the beggining, you might make some wooden rails or even a luminous helmet, but after you face off against an ancient golem, your goals will change.

This is your final craft. The forging of a vicious, brutal grandhammer, fit for only the mightiest of dwarves.
