What's new

Terra Horizon 1.1.0 (Minecraft 1.20.1, Fabric)

Added

  • Magic and combat path (classless): Electroblob's Wizardry Redux, Soulslike Weaponry, Basic Weapons, Tierify, Ranged Weapon API, AttributeFix, Necronomicon 1.4.2, Mobs of Mythology, Brutal Bosses, AzureLib, SmartBrainLib, Cupboard.
  • Lootify (CurseForge): with the th_wizardry_loot global datapack, appends Electroblob's Wizardry loot pools to modded structure chests in four tiers by structure difficulty. Additive only; original chest loot is unchanged.
  • Global datapacks (both packs, moonlight-global-datapacks/):
    • th_boss_tuning: Monarch of Chaos loot no longer drops a netherite upgrade template.
    • th_quest_tags: helper tags used by the quest book (thquests:*).
    • th_endrem_frames: Repurposed Structures stronghold portal frames generate without eyes (End Remastered 12-eye hunt).
    • th_wda_fix: repairs When Dungeons Arise template-pool typos (mechanical nest decoration, foundry corridor gears).
    • th_mansion_tuning: woodland mansions on their own structure set (closer spacing after Sparse Structures), separate illager manor set with exclusion, extra dark-forest biome tags for mansion placement.
    • th_wizardry_loot: Lootify tables that inject tiered Wizardry loot into about 531 modded structure chest tables.
  • Full FTB Quests rewrite: 21 chapters, auto-detect tasks, midgame and mastery arcs covering farming, kitchen, travel, structures, combat, reforging, mining, the Arcane Path, Nether, Deep Dark, End, and bosses.
  • ImmediatelyFast on the client for rendering performance.
  • Emotecraft, AppleSkin, Inventory Essentials, and Jade on the server pack (same versions as the client) so shared features work correctly online.

Changed

  • Quest and pack focus stays exploration and cozy survival; TreeChop is the whole-tree felling path; Right Click Harvest handles crop replanting; inventory sorting uses Inventory Profiles Next and Inventory Essentials; End islands use BetterEnd.
  • Sparse Structures: woodland mansion no longer uses a custom double-rarity override; mansions follow the pack spread factor with th_mansion_tuning spacing.
  • Distant Horizons kept at 3.3.2 on both sides (3.3.3 plus Chunky failed a fresh world create in testing). Server DH tuned for small hosts: 1 generation thread, 96-chunk generation radius.
  • ServerCore dynamic view/simulation with target MSPT; defaults capped at view-distance 8 and simulation-distance 6.
  • server.properties.example ships view-distance 8, simulation-distance 6, max-tick-time 120000, sync-chunk-writes=false. First start copies it when server.properties is missing.
  • start.sh / start.bat: G1 JVM defaults (override with JVM_FLAGS), first-start properties copy, stop note (host TimeoutStopSec recommended).
  • Default Simply Swords and Simply Tooltips config files (mod defaults) are included in both packs, so the server shuts down cleanly on the first stop after install.
  • Default keybinds v2 in options.txt: keypad and hotbar keys 1-9 stay free for vanilla, middle mouse is pick-block only, Iris shader keys unbound (Iris defaults K and O clashed with the quest book and other keys; turn shaders on in Video Settings > Shader Packs), Simply Tooltips tab cycle on Right Arrow. Shaders off by default (Iris enableShaders=false); Complementary Reimagined remains the preselected pack.
  • Title splash text updated to Pack version 1.1.0.
  • CurseForge CDN first-start download list: eight restricted jars (including Towers of the Wild Modded 1.0.6).
  • Server pack library jars now match the client versions exactly (Biolith, Collective, CreativeCore, Integrated API, Item Filters, Moog's Structure Lib, Oh The Biomes We've Gone, Oh The Trees You'll Grow, TES).
  • Recommended memory in the CurseForge manifest: 6144 MB (room for Distant Horizons and optional shaders).
  • Mod updates (Fabric 1.20.1 releases): AmbientSounds 6.3.9, Biolith 1.0.1-beta.1, Collective 8.42, CreativeCore 2.12.41, EMF 3.3.11, ETF 7.2.5, Integrated API 1.9.0, Item Filters b59, Moog's Structure Lib 3.4.2, Oh The Biomes We've Gone 1.8.1, Oh The Trees You'll Grow 1.7.2, Ore Harvester 1.7, Simple Menu 2.3, TES 1.6.6, Towers of the Wild Modded 1.0.6, Xaero's Minimap 26.6.0, Xaero's World Map 1.47.0.
  • Let's Do content uses the 2.0.x Fabric jars only (legacy 1.x duplicates dropped from the pack list).

Pinned (unchanged on purpose)

  • Distant Horizons 3.3.2, Necronomicon 1.4.2, Tidal Towns 1.3.4, Tectonic 2.4.4, Small Ships, Naturalist, When Dungeons Arise (current pin).

Server owners

  • Use TerraHorizon-1.20.1-1.1.0-server.zip with the matching CurseForge 1.1.0 client pack.
  • Keep moonlight-global-datapacks/ next to mods/.
  • Back up the world before updating. Loot a player has already generated (Lootr chests they opened) keeps its contents; unopened chests roll the new Wizardry pools (Lootify + th_wizardry_loot).
  • First start downloads the vanilla server jar and eight CDN mods, then generates the world.
  • config/simplyswords and config/simplytooltips in the server pack are the mod default files (same as the ones 1.0.2 generated); keep your own copies if you edited them.
  • server.properties is never overwritten. The example file's sync-chunk-writes=false saves chunks faster; a power loss or host crash can lose the last few seconds of chunk changes, so keep regular backups.

CurseForge review notes

  • All jars come from CurseForge (including Lootify); overrides/mods is empty. Wizardry structure loot data lives in moonlight-global-datapacks/th_wizardry_loot (plain JSON).
