Terra Horizon 1.20.1-1.1.4
What's new
Terra Horizon 1.1.4 (Minecraft 1.20.1, Fabric)
Includes everything from 1.1.3.
Added
- Reactive Music 1.3.5 by CircuitLord: replaces the vanilla soundtrack with music that changes with the situation (day, night, sunrise and sunset, rain, caves, underwater, home, villages, Nether, End and boss fights). Client only. It is a large download (about 295 MB) because it ships its own music.
- Terra Horizon Songpack 1.0.1: the default songpack for Reactive Music in this pack. Fantasy and calm music by Vindsvept, Scott Buckley, Alexander Nakarada and Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com), all under CC BY 4.0. Full credits are in the songpack's CREDITS.txt and on its CurseForge page. It is a required part of the pack and is installed automatically into the resourcepacks folder (about 346 MB); you do not need to enable it in the Resource Packs menu. Client only.
- You can switch to the built-in Reactive Music songpack (Adventure Redefined) or change the pause between songs in Mod Menu > Reactive Music, or with the /reactivemusic command.
Removed
- An old leftover file, config/_retired_heracles.txt.
Changed
- Moonlight Lib 2.16.36 -> 2.16.37.
- Entity Model Features 3.3.11 -> 3.3.12, Entity Texture Features 7.2.5 -> 7.2.6, Skin Layers 3D 1.11.3 -> 1.11.4 (client only).
- Biome music from Nature's Spirit, Oh The Biomes We've Gone, Galosphere, Deeper and Darker and Promenade no longer plays, because Reactive Music takes over all background music. Music discs and jukeboxes still work.
- Ready-made config files for Cut Through, Easy Anvils, Puzzles API (item interactions, slot cycling), Stylish Effects, Advancement Plaques, Highlighter, Legendary Tooltips and Farmer's Delight (client). They no longer print "Configuration file is not correct" warnings on the first start.
- Quest rewards overhaul: about 480 new themed rewards and 19 new reward tables across all 21 chapters. Kitchen and farming quests give ingredients, seeds and soil; home quests give decor and drawer upgrades; exploration and travel give waystone supplies and vehicle parts; the Arcane Path follows wand tiers (satchels, wand upgrades, artefact choices); weapon, metal and boss quests give smithing crates for the next tier; enchanted book choices scale from early to late milestones; chapter milestones also give XP levels. No reward gives End Remastered eyes or skips a boss tier.
- Existing worlds keep all quest progress and claimed rewards. In existing worlds you can claim the new 1.1.4 rewards on quests you already finished.
- Title splash text updated to Pack version 1.1.4.
Fixed
- If you updated an existing install and Ping Wheel's "Ping location" key is still mouse button 5, set it to Up Arrow in Controls (mouse button 5 is Electroblob's Wizardry "next spell").
- Fixed the client log filling with IndexOutOfBoundsException (about 100 lines per second) after joining some existing worlds. Empty Trinkets slots that had picked up leftover item data were resent to the client every tick. A small built-in data pack (th_trinketfix) now clears that leftover data from empty Trinkets slots a few seconds after you join. Equipped trinkets are not touched.
Checked, not changed
- XaeroPlus, AzureLib and Collective stay on their current versions.
Pinned (unchanged on purpose)
- Distant Horizons 3.3.2, Necronomicon 1.4.2, Tidal Towns 1.3.4, Tectonic 2.4.4, When Dungeons Arise 2.1.57, Small Ships, Naturalist.
Server owners
- Use TerraHorizon-1.20.1-1.1.4-server.zip with the matching CurseForge 1.1.4 client pack. Existing 1.1.x worlds load without changes.
- Changed in mods/: Moonlight Lib 2.16.37. Added data pack moonlight-global-datapacks/th_trinketfix (copy the whole moonlight-global-datapacks folder). Reactive Music and the songpack are client only and are not in the server pack.
- Back up the world before updating.
