A fan-made modpack inspired by the Yogscast MoonQuest series.

This is my own personal reimagining of MoonQuest, with the core principles of pure, simple fun, semi-thematic consistency, & most importantly... performance!

Q: What made you decide to make this pack that nobody asked for?
A: I personally wanted to play an updated MoonQuest in 2026, and I felt that the packs that were already out there weren't what I was looking for. Some were just all over the place, with an odd selection of mods with terrible performance to boot, and others were for more modern versions of the game that didn't include Galacticraft. I wanted a modpack focused on tech,  and felt true to the original series without major changes to the worldgen or the overall feel of the playthrough.

I also didn't want to include a million tech mods that all do relatively the same thing, so the main tech mods included are HBM's Nuclear tech, the RF Tools suite, and Mekanism. I would've included Ender IO because I love the item pipes in that mod; however, it's incompatible for some reason, and I've spent too long getting these core mods to work together in this pack to justify spending more time on a mod that isn't entirely necessary. 

 Other notable changes include:

• This pack contains both Galacticraft AND Advanced Rocketry!
  (Advanced Rocketry has built-in Galacticraft compatibility) 
• RFTools Dimensions is replacing Mystcraft for balance reasons. Mystcraft is much easier to get into early game when compared to RFTools Dimensions. It is also much better for performance.  
• Davincis Vessels is the replacement for Archimedes Ships. Formerly known as Archimedes Ships Plus, this mod is essentially a 1-1 replacement with improvements and updates, allowing better naval vessels.
• Buildcraft was essentially only in the pack because back in the day, it was the best option for item/fluid conduits and quarries. With other tech mods adding superior conduits, the only thing missing was the Buildcraft quarry. Simple Quarry is a mod that is obviously not only simpler to set up but also is balanced similarly to BuildCraft's quarry and also has upgrade modules, so it serves as a perfect fill-in.
• HBM's Nuclear Tech: CE is replacing Atomic Science and its reactors. HBM's mod also has a radiation system, not to mention huge machines and functional nuclear missile silos.
• This modpack also includes I.C.B.M Classic!

MAJOR UPDATE! READ ME!

With the addition of the original The Spice of Life, plus Spice of Life: Carrot Edition and WesCook's Food Nutrition,  alongside numerous other culinary mods, the food system has also finally received a major overhaul. Now, not only are there multiple systems working in tandem to motivate you to diversify your farms and culinary cuisine, but you will be actively rewarded for doing so.

I hate modpacks with unnecessary bloat.
This is meant to be a MoonQuest-based technology and space exploration modpack first and foremost.
While there are plenty of content mods, magic-based mods like Botania, Ice and Fire, Astral Sorcery, and Thaumcraft are NOT included. 

While this pack does include difficulty-enhancing mods, the goal isn’t to create something brutally unfair like RLCraft. The added challenge is there to make progression more meaningful and rewarding. Surviving, advancing through tech, and pushing into space should feel earned, not handed to you, but also not impossible.
(Core Difficulty enhancing mods include No Tree Punching & Rough Mobs Revamped)

DO NOT UPDATE ICBM - Interconnected Block Missiles
IT WILL BREAK ITS TEXTURE PATCH!!

FORGE:  

Please use AT LEAST Forge version 2860 to fix a serious exploit concerning Java and Log4j. 

MoonQuest-REDUX comes with and requires Forge 2860.

 AT LEAST 8GB of RAM is the recommended minimum spec requirement to run this pack;

Although my game runs perfectly smoothly (120+fps) with 16GB, and I might be using too much.

Optional PureBDcraft texture integration (64x)

The texture pack used in the series, along with all available mod patches are included. 
Several mods do not have patches and, therefore, will have default textures; However, most major mods are integrated.
Enable all of the resource pack patches in your resource packs menu

MoonQuest-REDUX is still a work in progress and will continue to evolve over time. As this is my first modpack, some areas may feel a little rough around the edges or lack polish. That said, I’m committed to improving it wherever possible and making it the best MoonQuest experience it can be.
