A GalacticWars Story combines Star Wars content and space exploration with a broad selection of technology, magic, building and survival mods. Start with an Overworld base, develop your own production systems and choose your next destination: another biome, a new dimension or space.

What you can do

• Space and Star Wars: Ad Astra, Sown's Star Wars Mod, Star Wars Planets, Star Wars Clone Wars and Star Wars The Block Wars provide the pack's galactic theme.
• Engineering and automation: Create and its add-ons, Mekanism, the Thermal Series, Industrial Foregoing and Ender IO give you several ways to build factories, generate power and process resources.
• Storage and progression: Applied Energistics 2, AdvancedAE, MEGA Cells and wireless terminals help organize a growing base; Draconic Evolution adds another advanced technology path.
• Magic and exploration: Ars Nouveau, Occultism, The Twilight Forest and Deeper and Darker offer spellcasting and destinations beyond your machinery.
• A world worth building in: Oh The Biomes We've Gone, Alex's Mobs, Farmer's Delight, Aquaculture and Macaw's building mods add variety to exploration and base building.

Getting started

1. Install this modpack through the CurseForge app and choose the release you want to play.
2. Launch its profile with Java 17. Keep the bundled mod versions and configuration together.
3. For multiplayer, all players need the same modpack release as the server.

Updating: Back up your worlds before updating. Use a separate profile to try a new release before moving an existing world.

Hosting a server

Open Files, select release 2026.10.01, then download its matching Server Pack from Additional Files. Every player still needs the full client modpack.

1. Extract the server ZIP into an empty folder and install 64-bit Java 17.
2. Run install.bat on Windows or sh install.sh on Linux/macOS. The official Forge installer downloads the required server files.
3. Read the Minecraft EULA and accept it yourself in eula.txt if you agree.
4. Run start.bat or sh start.sh. Read README.txt for hosting and update instructions.

The supplied scripts use a 6 GB memory limit as a starting point; adjust it for your host and player count. Client and server must use the same release.

Mod information & support

The selected release determines the exact mod versions. Check its Relations/Dependencies and the mod list included in the export for the full list. Gameplay details and recipes depend on those versions.

For pack issues, leave a project comment with the modpack release, Minecraft and Java versions, the steps to reproduce the problem, and the relevant crash report or log.
