J.A.S.P. V2 — 1.21.1 Update

Updated

• Moved from Minecraft 1.20.1 / Forge to 1.21.1 / NeoForge.
• Updated Create from 0.5.1.j to 6.0.10.
• Updated supported Create addons, food mods, structures, storage, and other returning mods.
• Updated the performance and memory-fix mods for the new version.

Added and replaced

• Replaced the old Valkyrien Skies/Clockwork/Trackwork setup with Sable and Create: Aeronautics, alongside High Seas and Create Thrusters.
• Replaced Tough As Nails with Thirst Was Reclaimed and Cold Sweat.
• Added 8-, 12-, and 16-drink canteens, upgrade recipes, and purified-water refills through Create Spouts.
• Enabled drinking directly from water by sneaking and right-clicking with an empty hand.
• Added Minecraft Comes Alive Reborn.
• Added Lootr for separate loot inventories per player. Loot containers have breaking and explosion protection, with automatic refills disabled.
• Added Create movement protection for Lootr containers. Normal storage and shops are unaffected.

Quests

• Rebuilt the quest book with 400 quests across 10 chapters.
• Added progression links and rewards to every quest.
• Split progression into survival, food, machinery, fuels, power, transport, storage, and other mod-specific paths.

Client changes

• Replaced Embeddium/Oculus with Sodium/Iris.
• Replaced Distant Horizons with Bobby ReNeoForged for cached, full-detail distant chunks.
• Replaced Controllable with Controlify.
• Updated Fresh Animations and its extensions.
• Updated the Fusion texture packs and removed Stay True.
• Refreshed the shader selection, including Complementary, BSL, Bliss, Solas, AstraLex, and MakeUp Ultra Fast.

Fixes

• Fixed 20 recipes that were failing to load.
• Fixed invalid loot, biome, structure, and advancement references.
• Fixed client-only mixins being loaded on dedicated servers.
• Updated the separate server package and checked it with a local dedicated-server launch.
• Tested canteen consumption, purification, Create refills, and separate Lootr inventories.

Before updating: back up your saves and keep the old instance. This is not a drop-in upgrade for 1.20.1 worlds; a fresh world is recommended. Servers and players need matching pack versions.
