IW SMP Season 2

IW SMP Season 2 is a massive kitchen sink modpack built for the IW SMP community, designed around one simple idea: give players a huge sandbox and let them decide how they want to play.

There is no forced quest line, no mandatory progression path, and no heavily rewritten crafting system telling you what you have to do next. The pack is built around the mechanics provided by its mods, allowing you to explore, build, automate, fight, adventure, experiment with magic, or disappear into an absurd engineering project for three days because you had an idea.

With over 400 mods, Season 2 brings together a wide variety of content while maintaining a multiplayer-focused experience.

🌍 Built for Multiplayer

IW SMP Season 2 is primarily designed around playing together on a server.

The pack includes multiplayer-focused systems such as claims, teams, voice chat, performance improvements, storage and logistics systems, shared infrastructure options, and enough different content paths that players can specialize without everyone needing to progress through exactly the same mods.

You can work together on enormous community projects or establish your own corner of the world and occasionally emerge to discover that somebody has built an aircraft carrier while you were learning magic.

No Forced Progression

This is important:

IW SMP Season 2 is not a progression or questing modpack.

There is no required order in which mods must be completed and no custom progression chain locking one mod behind another.

If you want to start with Create, start with Create.

If you want to become a wizard, become a wizard.

If you want to explore dungeons, build trains, automate everything, collect gear, construct a city, or spend your entire playthrough decorating a tavern, go for it.

The pack gives you the tools.

What you do with them is up to you.
