IW SMP

IW SMP is a large kitchen-sink modpack built specifically for multiplayer and designed to give players a massive sandbox of content to explore together. Featuring over 300 mods, the pack brings together magic, technology, engineering, exploration, building, automation, and quality-of-life features without forcing players down a specific progression path.

Players interested in magic can experiment with systems from mods such as Ars Nouveau and Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, offering everything from custom spellcraft and magical equipment to powerful combat abilities. Those who prefer technology and engineering can dive into mods such as Create, Create Aeronautics, Mekanism, and many others, building everything from mechanical factories and automated production lines to advanced machinery and large-scale engineering projects.

Rather than using a quest book or heavily modifying Minecraft's normal progression, IW SMP leaves the experience intentionally open-ended. There is no required route through the pack and no single mod that players are expected to complete first. Most recipes and gameplay mechanics remain as their respective mods intended, allowing players to explore different systems at their own pace.

This design is especially important for the IW SMP multiplayer experience.
