Season 2 v3 is here!

After the massive expansion in v2.2, v3 is a more focused update bringing new technology content, additional Create Aeronautics functionality, and several stability and backend improvements.

⚙️ Just Dire Things

Just Dire Things has been added to the pack!

This introduces another technology and automation path with new machines, tools, equipment, resources, and systems to experiment with.

Also included:

• Just Dire Things
• Just Dyna Things

Just Dyna Things expands the Just Dire Things ecosystem with additional content and functionality.

If the existing collection of technology mods somehow wasn't enough to keep you occupied, we've fixed that problem.

✈️ Create Aeronautics Expansion

Create: AeroWarptics has been added.

This expands the existing Create Aeronautics ecosystem and provides additional functionality for players working with aircraft and moving contraptions.

At this point, giving Create players more components is less of a feature and more of an ongoing scientific experiment.

🔧 Stability & Backend Improvements

Several new utility and stability mods have been introduced:

• Console Filter
• ZetaFix

These additions are primarily focused on keeping the pack cleaner and improving compatibility or stability behind the scenes.

Not every new mod gives you a shiny machine.

Some of them are here to stop the shiny machines from setting the server on fire.

🗑️ Removed Mods

The following mod has been removed:

• Yuushya 16x

The rest of the Yuushya building ecosystem remains in the pack.

🔄 Mod Updates

Alongside the new additions, 9 existing mods received file/version updates between v2.2 and v3.

Additional configuration changes have also been made as part of the update, including adjustments for existing and newly introduced systems.

⚠️ Important

Make sure you are running IW SMP Season 2 v3 before connecting to the server.

While this update is considerably smaller than v2.2, it includes new mods, updated mod versions, and configuration changes. Clients running older versions of the pack may be unable to connect or may experience compatibility issues.

Because apparently crossing 500 mods was a challenge rather than a warning.
