The horror experience, inspired by Calvin and other Minecraft horror creators

Original From The Fog mod by LunarEclipseStudios. This modpack builds on that experience with a carefully curated selection of mods and custom tweaks.

We wanted to keep the game as close to vanilla Minecraft as possible

- Something’s out there, and its watching

Strange figures may appear in the distance, strange sounds can come from the woods, and always you'll catch something watching you when you least expect it. Not everything will chase you, and not every encounter will make sense. That's part of the fun. 

- Goals

Honestly, there's no single goal in the modpack, and that's intentional! I wanted to keep it vanilla-friendly, so u can play however u like. Want to survive 100 days in Hardcore? Go for it. Want to summon and defeat Herobrine, hunt down every horror mob, and then defeat the Ender Dragon? That's another challenge entirely.

Note

• Do not use OptiFine
• Minimum 6Gb Ram is needed to launch the Game and must allocate 6144Mb Ram in the Profile settings.
• For Server: Please use BisectHosting for an easy server setup and less bugs.
• Allocate Minimum 6Gb Ram in your server and increase it according to players (5Gb for 10 Players)
• Join server even if it says incompatible modlist or fml version
• Press R to reload shaders in case of black screen
• Your Game/Server May Crash Occasionaly its the Unstable behaviour of some Mods
• If it crashes, try relaunching the game or restarting the server
• "nbt is null" can be fixed by either relaunching the Game or by restarting the Server
• Contains loud and disturbing sounds
• Contains flashing jumpscares and disturbing PNG jumpscares.

Installation Guide:

1. CurseForge Installation:

   • Download and install the CurseForge launcher if you haven't already.
   • Search for "FROM THE FOG" in the CurseForge modpacks section.
   • Click "Install" to automatically download and set up the modpack.

2. Launching the Modpack:

   • Once installed, select "FROM THE FOG" from your modpack list.
   • Adjust allocated RAM in the launcher settings for optimal performance.
   • Click "Play" to embark on your terrifying journey.

Troubleshooting Guidelines:

1. Crashes and Performance:

• Allocate sufficient RAM through the launcher settings.
• Update Java to the latest version.
• Disable heavy shaders or reduce render distance if performance is an issue.

2. Feedback and Support:
