What is this?
This is a simple collection of mods put together with the idea of adding some extra depth to the vanilla Minecraft we all know and love - without diluting it too much.
I had trouble finding a modpack to fit my particular idea of vanilla+ which didn't add a load of things that felt extra and unnatural to me, so I've made my own. :)

What's in it?
Alex's Mobs - adds 71 new mobs to Minecraft. All of these mobs fall into either two categories: most of them are real world creatures, like Grizzly Bears, Roadrunners, Orcas, etc; but some of them are purely fictional, like the Endergade and Bone Serpent, yet do not feel out of place in Minecraft. All of these creatures fulfill a necessary purpose, and either have unique drops, mechanics or functions, as there are no purely aesthetic creatures.
Appleskin - adds food value information to tooltips, a visualization of saturation and exhaustion to the HUD, and a visualization of potential health/hunger/saturation restored while holding food. Also adds hunger/saturation/exhaustion info to the debug overlay (F3).
Aquaculture 2 - expands the fishing system in Minecraft with over 30 new fish to catch either with a rod (any modded or vanilla rod will work!) or found swimming in the wild. It also adds a series of new rods which allows you to equip hooks & bait for additional functionality. Customized fishing Line & bobbers are also available to make your fishing rod truly unique. Modifiers & customization items can be applied in the Tackle Box, which also allows you to store additional hooks, bait, line & bobbers.
Biomes O' Plenty - adds a slew of new, unique biomes to the Overworld and Nether. To go along with the new biomes, it adds new plants, flowers, trees, building blocks, and much more!
Carry On - a simple mod that improves game interaction by allowing players to pick up, carry, and place single block Tile Entities (such as Chests, Furnaces, Droppers, Spawners, and your favorite machines from other Tech Mods) using only their empty hands. No items (or pickaxes) required. States, meta data, inventory and NBT data are retained. It also allows you to carry around smaller mobs!
Cooking for Blockheads - adds a cooking book along with a functional kitchen to Minecraft. The kitchen is modular and can be upgraded through additional blocks, allowing for expanded storage, infinite water for crafting provided by the sink, or efficient and delicious cooking with the oven.
Create - a mod offering a variety of tools and blocks for building, decoration and aesthetic automation.
Croptopia - adds a variety of new crops and food to the game.
Just Enough Items (JEI) - JEI is an item and recipe viewing mod for Minecraft, built from the ground up for stability and performance.
Macaw's Mods - Bridges, Doors, Fences and Walls, Furniture, Lights and Lamps, Paintings, Paths and Pavings, Roofs, Trapdoors, and Windows! + Biomes O' Plenty compatibility for Bridges, Fences, and Roofs by Samlegamer_
MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod - all about adding functioning and useful furniture and decorations. You will be able to find furniture for every part of your house, including the kitchen, bedroom, dinning, outdoors, and more!
Quark - a fully modular mod with the objective of improving the vanilla gameplay experience. (click here for a full breakdown of it's many awesome features!)
Supplementaries - a highly configurable Forge mod focused on adding valuable content which fills the gaps vanilla has. Its features are tailored to be functional, aesthetically viable, and complementary to preexisting content and provide many new ways to enhance your Vanilla+ experience.
Waystones - adds waystone blocks that the player can return to once they've been activated, either through a Warp Scroll, a rechargeable Warp Stone, or by using an existing waystone to hop from one to the other.

I will be adding/removing/replacing mods as I feel necessary, but the vision will remain the same! Suggestions welcome!
