Fearful Adventure is an exploration based survival modpack that centers around scary monsters, entities, and creatures. All the while it does not attempt to too far into the horror aspect, also prioritizing the players experience of adventuring and sense of challenge. Offering a plethora of new structures to explore, new weapons and armors to craft, horrifying enemies to face, and helpful relics to uncover. These new obstacles and helpful tools affecting your journey towards the endgame. Where, the method to get to the End dimension completely changed and once you get there, within the dimension lies and waits a harder Ender Dragon boss fight.
The Exploration: On the surface, vanilla biomes have been overhauled, villages improved, over 160+ new structures now generate across the world, and new spooky biomes are to be explored. In the underground, new cave biomes generate, a revamped Deep Dark, new ores to mine, and helpful relics to discover within chests. The Nether and End also have their fare share of changes which also feature new biomes and mobs.
The Journey to the End: To get to the End dimension now, there are now 16 different Eyes of Ender that will be either craftable, or found within structures. You only require 12 of the 16 Eyes of Ender in order to fill in the Ender Portal, which as not changed. Once in the End, prepare to fight the new Three-headed Ender Dragon. Visit the mod End Remastered to found out how to get the Eyes of Ender.
The Mobs: This modpack does not center around any specific mob, all the mobs are meant to solidify the horror aspect of this modpack. While some mobs may stalk you, others will be solely out to get you, and others may prove useful in your journey. Many new Bosses, Mini-bosses, and creepy crawlers to face up against. All mobs will become stronger based on distance from spawn, block depth, and the number of days that have past.
The Gear: A new wide variety of armor sets and weapons are made available to the player. All of which provide passive buffs to the player using them. Nearly each armor set as it's use for specific scenarios/environments, so try not to stick to only a single set of armor! Discover new companions that will help you fight against the monsters. Upgrade your stats through a Skill tree.
The Atmosphere: Many improvements have been done in order to increase the eerie atmosphere of this mod. An eternal fog is always downcast across the world. Sound physics have been enhanced and new eerie soundtracks have added if the player wishes to have music on. Shaders will also be available for the player if they so wish to turn them on.
