This is the biggest 'minor' update this pack's gotten. I could have kept going until it was worth calling 1.4, but nah, have fun!
Added YUNG's Better Nether Fortresses.
Added KubeJS, Rhino, and Architectury API.
Updated Cracker's Wither Storm Mod to 1.3.1.1.
Updated Better FPS - Render Distance to 1.8.
Updated Just Enough Items to 11.6.0.1011.
Updated YUNG's API to 3.8.8.
Updated YUNG's Better Desert Temples to 2.2.2.
Updated Placebo to 7.1.4.
Removed Flywheel, as CWSM no longer uses it.
Removed Paxi and switched data/resource pack loading to KubeJS.
Using KubeJS, added Command Block Panels and the Command Block Core as custom items. Echo Shards and Disc Fragments are no longer repurposed and spawn/function as normal.
Renamed the Command Block Core and Panel items to "Redstone Heart" and "Coruscant Panel".
Unique treasure attributes are now handled via KubeJS, so obtaining them via Creative or commands works as intended (except for the Warped Axe because of Dungeons Plus source code). They're also immune to fire now.
Recipes now appear in the recipe book once relevant progression milestones are reached.
Guidebook entries now unlock for people who join servers midway through the pack.
Removed guidebook pages for unbreakable treasure. Slightly adjusted the descriptions on the items themselves to more accurately reflect the changes made by Explorer's Eve.
Changed the enchantment method for unbreakable treasure items, preventing them from generating with useless enchantments. The enchantment table will still do this, but I can't change that.
Buffed the Warped Axe significantly by allowing it to teleport the player wherever it lands.
Added the Tainted Gem, a custom item used to locate Coruscant Panels created using Tainted Dust and a diamond.
Removed the Warped Garden, Tower, and small Nether dungeons.
The Warped Axe is now found in Ocean Monuments, replacing the Enchanted Golden Apple that used to spawn there.
The Snowy Temple dungeon inflicts Mining Fatigue unless the player is wearing the Frosted Cowl, the special loot item from the top floor.
Made Catacombs and Spider Nests more common.
Made Deep Dungeons much rarer to encourage using the Tainted Gem.
Slightly adjusted the Wither Storm's theme to make it loop a little bit better.
Mar Mar's Symbiont phase 1 theme now plays while fighting the Wither.
Added a track that plays the first time a Wither Storm teleports. The track used is Sunshine Stella.
Added progressive music to the Ender Trigon fight, specifically, Friends till Death.
Added new music to the bowels before beginning the final battle, Scavengers.
Lowered the volume of the bowels ambience because of the new music.
Added a stinger music note when the final battle is won.
The "Getting an Upgrade" advancement no longer announces its presence when a new player joins a world.
Reworked the Wither Skeleton Skull droprate buff. It's now the same as vanilla without Looting, but it greatly increases with Looting.
Added recipes for withered bones and flesh for consistency with other tainted items.
Formidibomb particles disappear if the bomb moves.
Added a subtle sound when a tractor beam applies awful effects.
Updated sounds for Super TNT's distraction ending, the Wither Storm regaining its heads, and final battle heads activating.
Baby Ender Dragons are removed when the Ender Dragon dies.
Baby zombies, zombified piglins and sickened zombies are slowed significantly.
Monsters in Dungeons Plus dungeons can no longer wield treasure items, just in case.
Enchanted loot throughout the game has been adjusted and generally nerfed to encourage enchanting and/or trading.
Removed diamonds from Nether loot and replaced diamond gear in bastions with Netherite equivalents.
The Redstone Heart dropped by the Ender Dragon now always spawns a specific distance above the End portal.
Gave the Amulet a recipe, requiring four gold ingots, four tainted dust, and one diamond.
Changed the Formidibomb recipe to be Super TNT surrounded by eight tainted dust.
The Wither Storm no longer becomes more aggressive when the player collects Super TNT.
When the Withered Symbiont is defeated, the Wither Storm is injured and can't move or attack for a few minutes.
In phase 5.5, after the first Withered Symbiont is defeated, the Wither Storm becomes enraged and continually chases players until the Formidibomb is used.
Removed the post-Symbiont player immunity to Wither Storm targetting. Because the Storm is injured now, this is unneeded.
Lowered the Formidibomb's default fuse to three minutes instead of ten.
Buffed the normal Wither with custom behavior:
The Wither will constantly break blocks around it.
If the Wither is spawned with its head in something it can't break, it'll duck under it to free itself.
The Wither will sometimes become invulnerable and prepare a massive explosion.
Below half health, the Wither gains additional armor.
At low health, the Wither will try to charge at the player and explode.
After these explosions, the Wither will hold still and shoot quick skulls.
Nerfed the Wither effect during this battle to 5 seconds of Wither I regardless of difficulty.
The Wither will never heal above half health once it gains Wither Armor.
The Withered Symbiont will consume sickened mobs that touch it to heal a small amount of health.
The Withered Symbiont's attack delay resets at the start of phase 2.
The Withered Symbiont no longer despawns flaming skulls that get too close. It's now just immune to their explosions.
Changed how skull attacks spawn to make them look a little better. Might be unnoticeable.
Slightly lowered scattershot skull speed.
Wither sickness infects non-players much faster.
Remade the Wither Storm's teleportation ability. It's now less predictable, more flexible, and it finally works well in multiplayer.
The Wither Storm prioritizes teleporting to people carrying an Amulet.
Wither Storm teleporting noises now use random timings.
Buffed teleporting by shortening the pre-warning startup period by 30 seconds and making the Wither Storm enter a dimension at world height instead of 80 blocks above.
The Wither Storm won't enter the End while the dragon is being respawned, for sure. Good luck if it's already there.
The Wither Storm will slow down once it catches up with a player if all players have recently died. It won't get distracted from this, its runaway attempt counter will increase, and any nearby players will be infected.
The Wither Storm won't quickly chase players once all of them enter the bowels.
Soul Cannon fireballs explode early when near the Command Block, so they won't move it.
Nerfed Nightmare mode final battle changes.
Players get several seconds of Resistance upon entering the bowels, so they can't take damage while loading.
The final battle arena now seals shut during the fight, preventing players from running back to the hallway. It reopens when all active combatants either die or fall out.
Updated the final Symbiont's respawning sound. Made it spawn seven ticks faster to line up with the new sound. What an extreme buff.
If any player is fighting the Command Block, all players in the bowels who aren't participating are given mining fatigue.
Fixed the Leviathan Blade not displaying enchantment bonus damage.
Fixed some more teleport bugs in MP.
Fixed spawning the Wither Storm at phase 4 or higher causing certain triggers to fail.
Fixed the Wither Storm ticking down its attack timer when all players are in the bowels.
Fixed difficulty toggles acting weird in MP or when using numbers greater than 1.
Fixed skull shooting sounds being audible from infinitely far away.
Fixed Nightmare mode not disabling the Wither Storm's multishot attack.
Fixed the Wither Storm rarely getting distracted by nothing in the End.
Fixed the Wither Storm staying angry in the End for real this time.
Fixed the guidebook pages for the Wither Storm reviving appearing instead when it explodes.
Fixed the 'command_weapon' progression check being revoked too late to matter on Wither Storm resummons.
Fixed certain final battle sounds playing to people outside.
Fixed final battle music behaving weirdly when multiple Command Blocks exist. This is still not a recommendation to spawn multiple Wither Storms.
Fixed final battle music not resetting properly when refighting the Wither Storm.
