I thought about calling this 1.3.1, but despite the length of this changelog compared to the last one, it only changes a couple dozen minutes of gameplay. Those couple dozen minutes are way cooler now, though!

 

Updated Forge to 43.1.57.
Updated Better FPS - Render Distance to 1.7.
Added FallingTree.
Described FallingTree in the guidebook. It makes chopping giant trees less annoying.

The Wither Storm is more interesting in its earliest phases:
In phase 0, the Wither Storm activates early once the player flees.
In phases 0 and 1, the Wither Storm will try to drop on the player and explode. It won't shoot flaming skulls during these phases.
In phases 2 and 3, damaging the Wither Storm in any way will injure its head and stun it.
In all of these phases, the Wither Storm will explode its way out from under any ceilings, and Wither Sickness won't apply.
To compensate for this increase in difficulty, the Wither Storm won't use its line or scattershot attacks during phase 4 except on Nightmare mode.

All players are given a full set of bonus chest loot when joining the game for the first time.
The Spooky Scary Skeleton advancement now requires the player to be in the Nether. This prevents it from appearing when you summon the Wither Storm.
Maps to reanimated ruins and ancient cities are zoomed further out.
Boats are slightly more effective in the phase 4 and 6 chase sequences.
Increased the Wither Storm's minimum distraction distance. This makes distractions much more likely after each chase.
Optimized Symbiont tentacle spawning. Tentacles also now spawn with random offsets, so they appear more varied.
The Command Core dropped by the Ender Trigon now appears over the End portal. It also glows to make it harder to miss.
Fixed towers not spawning in all biomes.
Fixed the Wither Storm not resetting its anger properly when the player enters the End.
