DepartureCC is a Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge modpack created for the Departure community, combining Origins, magic, character progression, and exploration.
Choose an origin with its own abilities and weaknesses, then develop your character through equipment, skills, and supernatural powers. Your origin changes how you approach survival, while the pack’s different progression systems give you several ways to build your character.
Features include:
- Origins and additional origin choices: Play with different strengths, restrictions, and abilities that change how you travel, fight, and survive.
- Magic with Ars Nouveau and its addons: Create spells and use magical tools for combat, exploration, and everyday tasks.
- Vampirism: Follow a supernatural progression path with vampire abilities or become a vampire hunter.
- Custom equipment with Tinkers’ Construct: Build and modify tools and weapons to suit your playstyle.
- Exploration with Alex’s Caves, Alex’s Mobs, and Additional Structures: Discover new underground environments, encounter more creatures, and find structures as you explore.
- Challenging encounters with Mowzie’s Mobs: Face enemies with distinct attacks that reward preparation and learning their behavior.
- Skills and progression with Project MMO: Develop skills through your activities as you gather resources, craft, and fight.
- Storage and multiplayer conveniences: Sophisticated Backpacks helps carry and organize supplies, while Simple Voice Chat supports proximity conversations on configured servers.
