Departure Server List Compatibility

Departure Server List Compatibility is a small Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge addon created for the DepartureCC modpack. It corrects misleading server-list incompatibility markers and, from version 1.0.4, includes a targeted Design n Decor / Amendments startup crash fix.

Server-list corrections

Some optional mods cause Forge to display a red "Incompatible FML modded server" cross even when players can connect. This addon corrects the display metadata for supported optional components.

• Allows Sound Physics Perfected, Origins Extra Keybinds, Traveler's Titles, BadOptimizations and MixinSquared to be absent from the server.
• Handles the specific MixinSquared difference between client 0.2.0 and server 0.1.1, bundled by different mods.
• Supports optional ClientSort 3.82.2.
• On dedicated servers, corrects the server-only markers for Departure origin, tree, PMMO balance, dragon-claim, performance and tent fixes (1.0.0), and Too Fast 0.4.3.5.

It preserves genuine required-mod and version checks and does not change login network channels. It is not a general-purpose bypass for incompatible packs.

Design n Decor / Amendments fix (1.0.4+)

Prevents startup crashes when Amendments scans Design n Decor's full belt connector item for additional lantern or carpet placements. The fix activates only with Design n Decor 2.1.0 and Amendments 1.20-2.2.6. Other versions are left untouched.

The patch skips that specific item during these scans; it does not replace blocks, items, recipes or placement behavior. It also avoids applying itself twice when the older departure_decor_compat hotfix is installed.

Installation

Use Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge. Install the addon in the client mods folder for client display corrections. Install it on the dedicated server for the server-only marker corrections. When using the affected Design n Decor and Amendments combination, install 1.0.4 or newer on both client and server.

No configuration is needed. The supported mods are optional; this addon does not download or require them. The separate temporary Departure Decor Compatibility hotfix can be removed when upgrading to 1.0.4.

This is an independent compatibility addon, not an official release of Forge or any of the affected mods.
