Description

Clockwork Foundry

Clockwork Foundry is a Forge 1.20.1 tech progression modpack built around one core idea:

Start with mechanical workshop lines, grow into power and logistics, then turn the whole thing into a real factory network.

This pack is not trying to be a random kitchen sink. Progression is shaped around connected systems: Create machinery, Mekanism processing, AE2 logistics, PneumaticCraft automation, Flux Networks, rail infrastructure and reactor-scale power.


Current Status

Beta 1.2

Clockwork Foundry is still in beta. More content, mods, quest chapters, balancing passes and progression goals will be added over time.

Feedback is very welcome. Comments, bug reports, balance notes, multiplayer issues and general suggestions all help shape the next versions.


What Makes It Different?

A Factory-First Questbook

The questbook is designed around building useful systems, not just touching random items.

You will be pushed toward:

  • Mechanical crafting and Create production
  • Stable power growth
  • Mekanism processing chains
  • PneumaticCraft pressure systems
  • AE2 storage and logistics
  • Reactor and turbine milestones
  • Factory certifications and production contracts
  • Long-term foundry objectives

Progression With Intent

Recipes and rewards are tuned so unlocks matter. Powerful tools, shortcuts and high-impact systems are moved deeper into progression instead of appearing too early.

Multiplayer-Friendly Direction

The pack is being built with multiplayer in mind:

  • Loot is friendlier for groups
  • Progression goals are broad enough for multiple players
  • Factory branches can be split between teammates
  • Rewards focus on scaling production rather than skipping progression

Polished Pack Feel

Beta 1.2 also focuses on presentation and quality of life:

Main Tech Path

The intended progression curve currently moves roughly like this:

Create workshop
-> Power expansion
-> Mekanism processing
-> Pneumatic systems
-> AE2 logistics
-> Reactors and turbines
-> Factory certifications
-> Foundry objective

You can branch out, but the pack is balanced around growing from hand-built machines into automated factory infrastructure.


Beta Notice

This is an active beta release. Balance may change, recipes may move, and quest rewards may be adjusted as the pack gets more testing.
