HighLife is a progression-focused fantasy herb and alchemy mod for Minecraft 1.21.11 using NeoForge. It adds a complete gameplay loop built around exploration, farming, timed processing, seed genetics, custom tools, status effects, and advancements.

Getting Started

1. Break short grass, tall grass, or ferns until Mystic Herb Seeds drop.
2. Plant the seeds on farmland and let the crop mature.
3. Harvest the mature plant to collect fresh herb bundles and more seeds.
4. Place a fresh bundle on a Drying Rack and wait for it to finish.
5. Use dried herb in recipes or load it into an infusion tool.
6. Combine two seeds with dirt in the Seed Mixer to create a new hybrid.

Every HighLife item includes an in-game tooltip explaining how it is used.

Processing And Breeding

Drying Rack

Place the rack, then right click it with a fresh Mystic Herb Bundle. The ingredient remains visible while it dries. Interact with the rack to inspect progress or collect the finished material.

Seed Mixer

Open the mixer and insert:

• Two Mystic Herb Seeds.
• One dirt block.
• Optional bone meal for faster processing.

The two parent seeds pass their strain and quality traits to a newly generated seed, with room for mutation and improved seed classes.

Infusion Toolkit

Herb Roll

A compact multi-use infusion crafted from dried herb and rolling paper. Hold right click to use it. Its durability bar shows the remaining uses.

Infusion Wand

Sneak and right click to open its control screen. Insert dried herb, wait for loading to complete, then hold right click to activate it.

Alchemy Flask

Sneak and right click to open its control screen. It requires dried herb and an occasional water refill. Separate indicators show its loaded state and remaining water.

Herb Cookie

A simple edible alternative with a milder herbal effect.

Effects And Progression

HighLife infusions can provide Serenity, regeneration, Haze, Thirst, and a short Peace state. Peace prevents hostile creatures from targeting you, but also prevents you from attacking while it is active.

The advancement tree guides you through:

• Finding and growing your first seed.
• Harvesting and drying herbs.
• Crafting and loading every tool.
• Refilling the Alchemy Flask.
• Breeding hybrid and accelerated seeds.
• Completing a full workshop and gene archive.

Jak Začít

1. Rozbíjej trávu a kapradí, dokud nezískáš první semínko.
2. Zasaď ho na ornou půdu a nech rostlinu vyrůst.
3. Sklid zralou rostlinu a získej čerstvé svazky i další semínka.
4. Polož čerstvý svazek na sušák.
5. Sušenou bylinu použij v receptu nebo ji vlož do infuzního nástroje.
6. V míchačce spoj dvě semínka s hlínou a vytvoř nový hybrid.

Každý HighLife item má přímo ve hře tooltip s krátkým návodem k použití.
