This is the modpack used by Boodlyneck on his Modded One Block series on YouTube.
The big advantage of the One Block play style is that it makes adding new mods with new world generation fairly easy.
I would like to thank HorribleNerd for creating CobbleGenRandomizer which makes this modpack possible.
When you first create the world it takes a few seconds to get your one block, so no need to worry.
It will keep growing every week as we add new mods until the series is over.
A big thank you to IJAMinecraft for the One Block data pack. -https://ijaminecraft.com/map/oneblock/
A big thank you to FishSound for Project MMO -https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/project-mmo
And also a big thank you to Ferr for the X-Life Data Pack. -https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/x-life/
What folder would you put the mod pack in?
Is it possible you could make a server download??
Hey, where can I disable the feature with life? I would like to play without this function, you should include a choice of whether you want to play with it or not. Sorry my english is not so good.
In reply to Legzplay:
You just have to remove the pack from the datapacks folder
I just started playing today. I am liking it so far. I am having an issue with gravel (maybe?), when it spawns in the infinite block, it just falls through into the void. Is this supposed to happen?
In reply to kabookie1127:
Put block under infinite block
The random saplings from leaves can become kind of annoying as you seem to rarely get back vanilla saplings and the modded trees are a pain to grow
Good evening,
I am going to guess what I'm trying to do isn't possible. I'd really like to have more than one "one block" I was thinking a 4 player map and each player having their own block. If you have any ideas please let me know.
In reply to pood_78:
I think it would be tricky, the oneblock datapack is fairly complicated. I haven't looked at it with that in mind, but I would imagine you could customize it for each player. My guess is you would need a customized oneblock datapack for each player. You would probably have to rename some tags and put some new coordinates in each pack, and then go through all the files and make sure you change them everywhere in that player's version of the pack.
In reply to Boodlyneck:
Thank you.

Also, if you were to do it on a server you could give each player a separate world where they could have their blocks. To link up the worlds you could use the immersive portals mod so it will look like just one island but will actually be 4 worlds all seamlessly linked. With this pack there is a lack of a need to generate chunks so this would cause almost, if not, 0 lag.

Very cool, Thank you much.
Hey boodlyneck, how exactly do I download the mod? Because it's a .zip file and not a .jar, thx
In reply to eduextreme15:
its not a mod, its a modpack. you need to download the minecraft loader multimc, drag the zip file into the window, and then you can play it.
In reply to eduextreme15:
I wrote up some instructions in post #31 I downloaded the zip and then moved the files into the install directory I created to run the moded version of minecraft.
To install:
My experience:
Downloaded Data Pack.
Downloaded and installed forge 1.16.1-32.0.108
I created a new insulation and launched the program to create the folder structure and exited.
I moved contents of the override folder in the zip file to my base folder for the new instillation.
Downloaded and installed all mods (1.16.1 version) mentioned using the relations tab. (the modlist.html sent me to module disabled error page.)
Once those where in the Mods folder. I started the game and got the "new" splash screen.
I clicked the template save file to select it and chose the recreate button at the bottom.
Once I did that and started the game everything seemed to work correctly. I didn't have time to test fully.
(I hope all this helps someone.)
In reply to pood_78:
Thanks for the help =D Make sure you get the correct version of project mmo. The new versions use a new config system and my configs won't work for it. I'm not sure if having newer versions of other mods will cause any issues.
In reply to Boodlyneck:
Thank you. The only think I didn't see right off was that I had full access to my inventory. I planned to did into that today and see what mod gave that and see if I had the right version. I had to get kids in bed so I didn't get to experiment any last night. My long term goal is to make a 4 player map so each playing would have their own island in the end. I'll be playing on local lan with my kids.

I had to take out TrophySlots, you can put it back in, but once you beat the end it locks all of your slots and you have to enable cheats and use a command to unlock them again =/ It's not too big of a deal if your comfortable using commands. TrophySlots has a command to unlock them. You will drop all of your items though when it locks your slots again so beware.
In reply to Boodlyneck:
Thank you. I saw that note but I wasn't aware that was the Mod doing the locking.
